All their desserts and drinks are below $5, making it a very affordable dessert option. Within the vicinity of my neighborhood lies a popular bakery chain called Bake Inc on the first floor if Punggol Plaza. This bake shop is my favourite because they sell almost every kind of baked goods you can imagine. You want cakes, there's cakes and to name more, there's puff pastries, cookies, buns and breads of all kinds, donuts, etc. It is so rare to find those old school colourful cream cakes, and yet at this bake shop you can find it. Most pastries and buns sold at Bake Inc are below $2, how inexpensive is that compared to other well known bakeries. If you would like some old school waffles with your peanut butter or kaya, etc spread, there's a live station at the shop. You could order a waffle and it is freshly made on the spot. A newly opened old school bakery called 50 Years Fresh and fluffy had recently opened at punngol plaza and it is on the first floor of the mall. Those who are familiar with the 50 Years bakery chain knows that they have quite a number outlets in Singapore at Ang Mo Kio, Toa Payoh, Bedok bus interchange etc. This old school bakery is execellent for their Portuguese egg tarts with a flaky crust and creamy egg custard. It is a bonus when you get them freshly baked out of the oven, as it taste great while warm. Other items that this bakery sells include fresh old school bread that are fresh and fluffy and you could ask for your favourite spreads such as kaya, peanut butter, or even margarine.
