#cherryblossom25 I just can't resist sharing this place that truly stole my heart! 🥹 While Jōraku-ji and Hase-dera are popular choices when visiting Kamakura, there's a lesser-known treasure — Ryūkō-ji Temple — that quietly captures the beauty of spring. 🌸 It may not stand out at first, but once you sit quietly on the stone steps outside the temple, away from the hustle and bustle, you’ll feel the peaceful spirit of spring wrapping around you. 🌿☀️ A gentle breeze brushes by, setting the sakura in motion. Pink petals float down slowly like a dreamy snowfall, blanketing the ground in soft hues of pink and white. ✨ In that moment, you’ll find yourself completely enchanted. If you want to experience a truly romantic sakura rain, don’t miss Ryūkō-ji, just a short walk from Yokosuka Station. Here are some of the best photo spots 📸: Under the cherry trees in front of Ryūkō-ji: Stand on the stone steps and capture a photo framed by sakura, with the iconic Enoden (Enoshima Electric Railway) passing by in the background! Sitting at the temple entrance: Sit on the wooden threshold and look inward — the temple garden filled with blooming cherry blossoms will unfold before your eyes like a living painting. Under the sakura tree to the right as you enter: Climb the steps on the right and look down — the ground is carpeted with fallen petals, creating the most breathtaking view imaginable. I went to Ryuko-Ji temple. From Tokyo, taking the train to Fujisawa. Then transfer to Enoden Line (buy a 1-day pass for 800 Yens) to ride to places in between Fujisawa and Kamakura. This temple is located near the train station Enoshima (EN6). There are not crowded. So, you can enjoy taking pictures with Cherry blossoms.

#japantrip I realized for the first time that the five-story pagoda represents the five elements of "earth," "water," "fire," "wind," and "sky." These are the five elements that shape this world and us humans. It was completed in 1910, so it's not that old, but it's the only wooden five-story pagoda in Kanagawa Prefecture, and is a valuable building. It was beautiful.
