Dine in at SBCD Korean Tofu House to enjoy a bowl of warm tofu stew, other Korean main dishes and different types of side dishes. It is really yummy. I visited the restaurant at Guoco Tower. I ordered the Soon Tofu set and it comes with a bowl of white rice served in hot stone. A wide variety of main dishes such as unagi, baby octopus, chicken served on a hot plate. The complimentary side dishes include a fried yellow croaker fish, kimchi, cucumber, cuttlefish and their own brand SBCD seaweed. I love their tofu stew, unagi, baby octopus and kimchi pancake. The restaurant offered a lovely, cozy ambiance, with seating by the windows surrounded by lush greenery, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. We opted for the set menu for four, which provided a good variety of dishes. However, the kimchi platter, while visually appealing, lacked the bold, fermented flavors. Additionally, we noticed some repetition in the dishes, which felt a bit redundant. The Myeonngran Bibimhap was a slight disappointment; the rice was unfortunately a bit firm and difficult to chew. SBCD Korean Tofu House sells one of the best Soontofu soup, we went to the one at Guoco tower outlet. There are many variety of soup here, we picked the beef and seafood soup ( their recommended soup) and it was delicious, the soup is quite thick so not sure if everyone likes it. We ordered the combo set so we can choose one main from the menu, we had the bbq ribs and it was so good, my husband think the beef rib is the best during this meal. My personal favourite here is the Korean pancake, it was so good so good! The pancake is crispy, the dipping sauce is good and they are so generous with filling inside the pancake. I would definitely come back just for the pancake. The set also comes with fried fish, seaweed and some other small appetisers. The fried fish is good and you can also order separately, it’s $3 per fish and I think it’s very reasonable. You also can get a free yakult after your meal. Overall i would suggest this place!

#travelanywhere Went to Sbcd Korean tofu house located at tanjong pagar Singapore Guoco tower. It is still quite crowded even on a weekday night! So do make a reservation before coming down if you would like to try the food. The food here is good and they are famous for their soontofu. I ordered the pork soontofu and it was delicious and the soup was very flavorful. Prices are a bit steep as it adds up to almost $30 per pax after that, but it was still worth it because the portion was huge and the soup was good and delicious. They were generous with the ingredients too. Sides dishes such as seaweed and kimchi were available too and both were just super delicious to add on with the soup. Enjoyed my dinner here and would definitely visit for more. There’s two other outlets located around Singapore, so can check the alternative outlets out if you are keen!

My family from overseas came over to visit and I brought them to SBCD for authentic Korean tofu soup. The staff speak English and they are very friendly. The side dishes here are refillable and they also have this cute little yogurt drink for customers. If you order their combo set, you get to choose 1 main and 1 tofu soup. You can choose the type of meat and the level of spiciness. Everything you need are inside the drawer at the table, just pull it out and you can find tissue paper, forks, spoon and chopsticks. #mysgmemories Can lah! Let’s go makan! I am in the area after my rehearsal session for National Day and there were a few Korean Singaporean who introduced me this Korean dish. So, we came over and had a meal together. Yes, there is a pretty large Korean community in Singapore and most of the young generation are localized. They can speak Singlish too. It is awesome to learn about different cultures despite being in Singapore. As Singapore is also made up of many different races too, it is good to interact with different cultures. This Korean tofu dish is delicious, and it is a type of comfort food for the Koreans.
