🌿 Soaking My Feet in Singapore’s Only Natural Hot Spring?! ♨️🇸🇬
#springitinerary
A Sembawang adventure I didn’t expect!
Who knew you could enjoy a natural hot spring in Singapore of all places? 🤯 I recently visited Sembawang Hot Spring Park, which is said to be the only free natural hot spring in Singapore!
Getting there wasn’t super straightforward — we took the MRT to Sembawang Station, and tried to catch Bus 858, but there are several stops for it and we got a bit lost 😅. In the end, we just walked for about 30 minutes to reach the park.
The hot spring park itself isn’t huge, but the scenery is lovely and peaceful 🌿. The main features are:
♨️ A tiered hot spring foot bath
🥚 A special egg boiling zone (yes, you can cook eggs in the hot spring water!)
We tried the egg boiling — the water at the outlet is about 70°C, and after leaving the eggs under the flowing spring for over 20 minutes, we got soft-boiled hot spring eggs 🍳✨. If you want firmer eggs, I suggest bringing thin-shelled eggs and your own pot or small bowl. We only had plastic bags, which wasn’t ideal since the hot water was tricky to handle.
The foot bath has four levels, with the top being hottest and gradually cooling as the water flows down. Some people soaked their feet directly, others brought buckets or sat under trees doing foot baths the proper “wellness retreat” way 😌🪷. #MalaysiaHiddenGems
