The story of this place starts in 1985 when they build a glass factory that produced products from famous brands and they used back then very superb technology. Eventually, the factory becomes empty in 2009 and then in 2013 this place was reborn again and becomes a Value factory. Located in Shekou, a subdistrict of the main Nanshan district, very near the Shekou Port metro station. Right now, this value factory is very famous for young people, students, artist, digital media influencer, and everyone who like cultural and art exhibitions. This place offers many different events for art, fashion, literature, etc. What grabs my attention are the many murals that you can see on the gray walls that are how this place has a cool and rebellious vibe. This is also a popular place for every subculture lover or person who feels younger and likes to describe themselves artistically. Also here you can find some bars and one nice coffee shop that are per se for work or study. There is a way how to reach the top of the factory building where you can enjoy in fantastic view and see the big Shekou port. Attraction location: No. 8 Haiwan road, Industrial district, Shekou (Guangdong Float Glass Factory) How to get there: LINE 2 (Orange line) going to Chiwan. Alight the train on SHEKOU PORT station Exit D1, about two kilometers away. There`s trike ride available outside the subway station but its a rough road so i suggest take taxi ride or didi to avoid inconvenience and more safe. Tha Value Factory is located very remotely in a former glass factory in Shekou port area. This is a part of the industrial heritage of the city. Transformed into a series of unique spaces that offer a dramatic experence to the visitors. Venue for big company events, brand launching, fashion shows, concerts, etc.. etc.. The Value Factory in Shekou used to be the Guangdong Float Glass Factory, but after the production line was moved, the old factory area was left idle. It was later developed into a creative park. Graffiti can be seen everywhere here, which is a major highlight. Artists use local materials and combine the style of the old site to create vivid and interesting works, which also make for great photo backgrounds. The creative park also houses museums, Western restaurants, and coffee shops. The former raw material silo of the Guangdong Float Glass Factory has been transformed into Shenzhen's first metaverse experience center.
