As for the book collection, my focus was on English books, which seemed to be predominantly academic literature and an assortment of travel guides. The architectural design of the library is striking, with plenty of windows that flood the space with natural light, creating a modern and uplifting atmosphere. I could easily envision myself spending hours immersed in books here. Furthermore, the library is not just about books; it also offers a rich cultural experience. Chinese calligraphy on cloth adorns the front of the library, adding a unique and captivating element to the environment. Overall, the Shenzhen Library in Futian district is a delightful place for readers and seekers of knowledge, combining a comfortable space, an intriguing collection, and a touch of cultural charm.

#2023 Travel Wish Shenzhen Library, located at Fuzhong 1st Road, Futian District, Shenzhen (near the Civic Center Metro Station), has a total construction area of ​​nearly 50,000 square meters. It is a large-scale modern public library invested and built by the Shenzhen Municipal Government that integrates popularization, digitization and research. It is an important city card and symbol of "Cultural Shenzhen" and was rated as a national first-class library in 2018. The library’s interior architectural design is the most special. The interior ceiling is composed of irregular silver columns, which look like trees from a distance, so it is also called Shenzhen’s “Silver Tree”. The top is a curved surface of three-dimensional glass, with each piece of glass having a different area, integrating cubes and grids into modern design. I am just admiring the whole structure of this building and its vicinity. It's the Shenzhen Library. (adjacent to the Shenzhen Concert Hall) Its a solid steel and cement structure. Very masculine. More like a spaceship looking only it has a whole lot of glasses. Both of these venues are actually looking like the same architecture. I went up the other day, but unfortunately the library is closed for the meantime so i didnt got the chance to see whats inside. (i may have to go back next time to see why people saying that this is one of the most beautiful library they've seen so far) Nevertheless, outside is as beautiful as it is. Give it a visit a be amazed how it looks. Its location is next to Shenzhen Civic Center, in CBD, Futian district.
