#9月好去地方2024 I recently visited Isoyama Park, a beautiful spot in Sano City, about 6 km northwest of JR Sano Station. I was amazed by the Izuruhara Benten Pond in the park. It has been designated as a natural monument of the prefecture and is one of the 100 famous waters of Japan selected by the Ministry of the Environment. Clear water gushed out from the cracks in the paleozoic limestone, and the carp swimming leisurely in the water made me feel the tranquility and harmony of nature. In addition to the beautiful pond, Isoyama Park also has an observation deck, the Benzaiten which is filled with cultural atmosphere, and many folk tourist facilities around it, which attracts many tourists in all seasons. I spent a pleasant day here and felt the integration of natural beauty and humanity. If you are traveling in Sano City, Isoyama Park is definitely a place you can't miss!

We went to [Menya Yosuke], one of Tabelog's top 100 restaurants 🍜 There were already more than 20 groups waiting, but the number was displayed on the monitor and you could check your number by QR code, so it was a very convenient system! Izuruhara Benten Pond in Izuruhara, Sano City, Tochigi Prefecture This spring-fed pond is so beautiful that it was selected as one of the Ministry of the Environment's 100 Best Waters. Since it became a hot topic on social media in recent years, it has become a popular spot for camera enthusiasts. To be precise, it is a spring-fed pond located in the grounds of Isoyama Benzaiten in Isoyama Park. The water is so clear that the carp in the pond can be seen clearly. When you take a picture of it with a camera, it looks like they are floating in the air. Its beauty is comparable to that of Monet's Pond at Nemichi Shrine in Seki City, Gifu. The morning after it rained or was humid the day before, you can see the mysterious sight of steam rising from the surface of the pond, called a kerashi. To maintain this transparency, local residents volunteer to clean the pond once a month. By the way, there is a free water intake point from the same source in front of the hotel across the street.
