It's nice to see the ocean from the Sokcho Lighthouse Observatory, but it's even better to come down and see it up close. When I looked at the rocky area right in front of the parking lot on the map, it said Yeonggeumjeong Fishing Spot (fishing there?!) #MayTravelSupport There is a place in Sokcho where you can see the view all at once. It is Sokcho Lighthouse. If you park your car in the parking lot and go up the stairs a little, you will see the lighthouse. If you go inside the lighthouse, you can see the view of Sokcho at a glance. It feels good to look at the beautiful sea and the view😁

#koreatrip It was good point to enjoy and see a view of city and sea. There was a " health checking gate" available, you could check how things you are passing through the pillars shown in the last photo. Great 360 view of the city. 175 steps of stairs up to the lighthouse, but totally worth it. The view was breathtaking. You get a pretty good view of all of Sokcho, from the mountains to the lake to of course the ocean. I'd recommend it even for people who struggle with the way up the stairs. It's really worth it. Free, too.

I highly recommend it as the starting point for your Sokcho trip. It is located in a secretly high altitude, so it is good for taking a look at Sokcho at a glance. It is the perfect base for planning a trip. And because the view is good, it is also a great photo spot. Let's take lots of pictures and look around diligently. #2025OverseasTravelEvent

#NewYorkFlightEvent Address: 8-28 Yeonggeumjeong-ro 5-gil, Yeongrang-dong, Sokcho-si, Gangwon-do This is Sokcho Lighthouse, which I stopped by in Sokcho during my trip to Gangwon-do. The view of the East Sea from the lighthouse, which you can see after climbing about 200 stairs, was so beautiful that I thought it was worth climbing even though it was hard~ It's a place with strong winds, so if the weather is good, I hope you stop by during your trip :)
