More than 10,500 meters deep and reaching the seabed, Johnsen Point and Taal Lake, famous for its crater lake, are located at the foot of the southeastern Tagaytay Mountains in Batangas Province in southwestern Luzon Island. Taal Lake is more than 20 kilometers long and 15 kilometers wide. The lake water is sparkling. In the middle of the lake is the famous Taal Volcano, which is a very low and very small volcano on the earth. The top is only 300 meters above sea level. There is another volcanic lake in the middle of Taal Volcano, with an area of about 1 square kilometer. There is also a small island reef in the lake, which constitutes a beautiful landscape with mountains in the lake and lakes in the mountains.
