Stay in the mountains of Gaoligong and sleep with macaques?! This is too much!
Life is a wilderness, so go into nature!
In Tengchong, I stayed in a mountain hotel next to Gaoligong Mountain, away from the hustle and bustle of the world, with only the distant volcano 🌋, the nearby grass and trees, the chirping of insects and birds, and the sound of the Longchuan River.
〰️
In the morning, I opened the window and smelled the dew in the mountains and forests. 🌿
I enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the restaurant terrace and watched the macaques play in the monkey park.
I also had an immersive experience interacting with and feeding the macaques, blending into nature!
I wished time would stop, so I didn't have to think or do anything, just watch the mountains and clouds, and feel the warm breeze blowing through the window.
.
The room was made of pure wood, simple and natural, blending in with the view outside the window.
Our family room was a suite with a separate bathroom, shower, and cloakroom, spacious and bright.
The toiletries were all available, just like at home!
In Tengchong, you must soak in the natural hot spring, and the bathtub 🛁 was right by the window, so you could enjoy the view while soaking.
.
In Tengchong, the winter mornings and evenings are cool, and the afternoon sun is warm and hot. 🌞 At this time, you can go to the strawberry garden behind the hotel to pick strawberries.
My daughter was super excited, and the strawberries she picked tasted extra sweet. 🍓
After picking strawberries, you can go to "Mushanju" next door to taste the delicious Yunnan hot pot.
There are also 🔻 the most beautiful road in Tengchong, 🔻 the volcanic lava reef known as "Little Iceland," 🔻 the Sancha Pond landslide waterfall, rafting, and more around the hotel.
Everything you need for eating, living, and playing is here!
If you are overwhelmed by the emotions of life, take a short vacation with your kids during the Lunar New Year holiday.
Why not head south to "Topu Yun Ya" in Gaoligong Mountain, Tengchong, and enjoy a trip close to nature!
