The mining industry used to flourish until recent years, when it has transformed into a city of sports and technology. The city has two universities, the University of Sheffield as well as the University of Sheffield Hallam. Therefore, the whole city is rich in hipster atmosphere, and everywhere is full of college atmosphere. Must-visit attractions for hipster hikers · Sheffield City Hall. #100 Ways to Travel Easy Hotel is a sister company of the famous low-cost airline Easy Jet. There are locations in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. And most cities in the UK, including London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, etc.....there are some like European versions of Air Asia and Tune hotel. Most importantly, the price is cheap, the regular price is expected to be less than HK$400. If you hit the big sale, half or 70% off, super cheap! Among them, Sheffield city center is about 10 minutes walk from the train station, and most attractions are within walking distance. Easy Hotel branded itself as a low-cost hotel, so there was nothing in the room except a bed and a small toilet and shower. No toothbrushes and slippers (but two-in-one shower gel with shampoo and towels are provided), no tables and chairs, no kettle, no wifi. There is a TV to watch, a vending machine and a coffee machine in the lobby can be paid by the user. No gym no pool! The cheapest rooms also have no windows but do have central air conditioning. There is an elevator and a front desk. Incidentally, though it’s a low-cost hotel. But I think the attitude of the counter staff is very good, and very safe (there is a door ban requires a card swipe to enter.

Nice is really my favourite place on the tour, staying by the sea you can watch the sunrise from your balcony in the morning and walk on the shingle beach in the evening. The neighbouring towns of Cannes and Perfume are easy to get to and each have their own character!And every town has a different beach, stone or sand, harbour or bay，I also got to experience paragliding, which was a real thrill!#beachlife #trip

[Sheffield] ～ Cutlery Works I went to a food court called "Cultery Works" in Sheffield some time ago. There are various restaurants, drink shops, bars and so on. The decor is very cute and there is plenty of seating. We tried the authentic tea drinks from ALS GongCha, the bubble milk tea and cheese milk cap were both delicious. They have a lot of teas to choose from on the menu! For food, we had authentic Malaysian cuisine ~ Sylok-Lah! We were amazed by the overall dining experience and the food was delicious! A friend and I made our way to Lodge Moor POW camp one spring. It’s not well marked or preserved in any way. However, in its hay day, it was the largest POW camp in Britain. We did some research and learned that it held about 10,000 prisoners at one point. Off all the historical places I’ve been to, I have to say, this one left the biggest impact. There was definitely a strange feeling on the site itself. Worth a visit if that history peaks your interest.

The first photo is a view of Sheffield's downtown, which I especially cherish and love. England, with its good weather, is so beautiful. I also recommend going up to Bolehills Park and watching the sunset. You can see the entire city of Sheffield at a glance. While walking down Sheffield Street I went into this place because there were a lot of desserts on display that looked delicious. After eating, I searched and found out that it was a famous afternoon tea franchise that can be found all over England. Since it was a place that sold French desserts, there were also macarons. But wow—this place turned out to be way more fun and well put together than I expected! As an old industrial city, Sheffield has a lot to show off. At the museum, you’ll find: ⚙️ Giant industrial machines, gas engines, and a working drop hammer 🚗 A vintage car collection ✋ And yes—some parts you’re actually allowed to touch and interact with (heaven for curious hands like mine!) The museum isn’t huge, but it’s cleverly designed with different levels to explore. There’s also a little café at the entrance, and sometimes they host small weekend events. But what really made me want to recommend this place? The people. The staff were incredibly friendly. Two elderly volunteers saw how fascinated we were and came over with big smiles, asking if we enjoyed it—and kindly said, “If you liked it, do recommend it to your friends!” It really warmed my heart. The museum runs on donations, and while it wasn’t crowded, it truly deserves more visitors. Recently, the weather in the UK has been amazing, so I decided to visit this charming little town just a short trip from Sheffield. The town is small but complete with all the shops, restaurants, and facilities you’d need. It’s like a cozy little package with everything inside. Getting There: 🚂 Take a train from Sheffield to Chesterfield. Tickets on Trainline are super cheap—around £3.40! The train journey takes just 10 minutes, making it an easy escape. The first stop was the Chesterfield Parish Church, which is famous for its unique tilted spire—it’s truly a one-of-a-kind church in both design and charm. ⛪️ Lunch at Odyssey Greek Restaurant: 🥘 Initially, I wanted to try a Sicilian restaurant, but it was closed on Sundays, so we ended up at Odyssey Greek Restaurant. Highly recommend the tomato soup (pictured in the fourth photo)—the combination of the rich soup with special bread cubes and cheese was divine! My friend had the seafood grill platter (with squid) and loved the mix of seafood, fruits, and vegetables. Exploring Queen’s Park: ⛲️ After lunch, we took a relaxing walk in Queen’s Park, just around the corner. The sun was shining beautifully, and the park has swings, leisure facilities, and even a small steam train track (although sadly, we didn’t catch the train). The park also has a lovely lake and some 🦆 ducks, and I captured a photo that gives off a “Green Fairy Tale” vibe! There’s also a white glass house showcasing a few botanical and animal specimens. Let’s get one thing clear… Sheffield in my experience was welcoming, buzzing with life, everyone’s up for a laugh and certainly a drink. There’s a lot of talent in Sheffield, great people, unique buildings and a young - people vibe, quite surprising. My go- to place was the number 1 cafe in Sheffield, Tamper Coffee this a must visit, speciality coffee with some excellent friendly staff. #sheffieldtrip
