[April 13] Singapore Istana Open House: Enjoy Culture, Activities, and Charity
🎉 Istana Open House is here! On April 13, you're invited to this historic building to participate in a variety of activities and experience the collision of traditional and modern culture!
🖌️ Experience Traditional Arts and Crafts: There are several interactive experience sessions on site, such as batik painting, portrait painting, mobile phone photography, and ukulele workshops. Unleash your creativity and enjoy the fun of hands-on activities! There will also be a golf putting challenge and a treasure hunt waiting for you!
🎶 Cultural Performances: From 10am to 4:30pm, there will be a series of exciting performances from different schools and art groups! These include traditional Malay musical instrument performances, ukulele Malay song performances, as well as dances and choruses from the three major races of Chinese, Malay, and Indian, which will definitely allow you to experience the charm of Singapore's multiculturalism.
🍴 Food and Souvenirs: In addition to enjoying a wealth of activities, there are also food stalls and limited edition Istana and President's Challenge souvenirs for sale. Please note that all payment methods are limited to cashless payments, including credit cards, transfer cards, and QR codes.
🗺️ How to Get There: The entrance to the Open House is at the main gate of the Istana. The most convenient subway station is Dhoby Ghaut station.
🎟️ Ticketing Information: Admission is free for Singapore citizens and permanent residents (including foreign domestic helpers accompanying them). For other visitors, adult tickets are SGD 20 and child tickets (ages 4–12) are SGD 10. Guided tours of the Istana Villa and other activities are available for an additional fee.
💖 Charitable Donations: All proceeds from the event will be donated to charities supported by the President's Challenge.
