#The Peak Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Sunsets of Victoria Peak 🌅
Catching the sunset at Victoria Peak in Hong Kong was an unforgettable experience.
I started my journey by taking public bus 15 from Central Exchange Square. I chose the bus over the peak tram as it was the most wallet friendly way up the mountain 😂. Ascending through winding roads, anticipation built with every turn.
As I reached the peak, the panoramic view of the harbour stretched out before me, the city's skyline bathed in the warm hues of the setting sun. I found a spot along the Peak Circle Walk, where I could immerse myself in the beauty of the moment. The sky transformed into a canvas of vibrant colors, casting a mesmerizing glow over the cityscape. Lucky me, as I had visited on a clear day, I could even see the peak of Tai Mo Shan over the sea of clouds!
The sunsets at Victoria Peak are truly moments of pure magic that we should all witness.

I want to win the tickets to Hong Kong as I want to revisit some of my favourite spots in Hong Kong, like this one, while finding new ones!
Victoria Peak/Beautiful
Take the subway to Central Station and exit from Exit J2, follow the signs and you will reach the place to take the cable car💗It's more like a train inclined at 45 degrees than a cable car🛶. I bought a round-trip + observation deck ticket. The observation deck is not big but the view is very goodThe weather in Hong Kong in January is too comfortable, not cold or hot, and it's not cold on the observation deck. And whose mansion is P6? ? This is too extravagant⛳
Finally, not far from Lan Kwai Fong, it is also near Central Station, you can walk from the cable car station, and you will arrive in more than ten minutes, but why is Lan Kwai Fong different from what I imagined🎗I remember it wasn't like this in the movies before, they were all small bars, where is the place to party? ?
Both Views from HK’s Peak are Great!
Attraction name: The Peak
Location: Hong Kong island in Hong Kong, China.
Getting there: Peak Tram from central or get Bus 15 from the bus station at IFC mall.
The Peak offers the famous Hong Kong skyline view. From the top you can enjoy seeing the famous skyline and the famous Victoria harbour.
I suggest you pivot 180 degrees and look at the view from the south side. You will see the sun setting there and you will enjoy views of Lamma, Stanley, Aberdeen and mountains from the south. Not many buildings but wonderful natural scenery too!

Spectacular View of Hongkong! 🇭🇰
#timetotravel
A visit to The Peak or Victoria Peak is a must when you are in Hongkong so you can appreciate the skyline even better. If you go there on a fine day, you will be able to see Victoria Harbour and Kowloon. I've been there twice and the first time I was there was really foggy so the entire city was not visible. The second time I went there, I got lucky as it was somehow a good day, atleast we could see the skyscrapers in the city below. I suggest you get an octopus card so you dont need to purchase a ticket on the tram going up. You just have to tap the octopus card and you are good to go for a tram ride to The Peak. Enjoy the views but pick a nice day !

Tallest View point at HK Island, The Peak
The Peak Is one of the beautiful places for observing Hong Kong cityscape located on Hong Kong Island. The observation “Peak Galleria” has different souvenir shops and restaurants which you can enjoy. Ten Minutes ride of The Peak Tram is an unforgettable journey, great spectacular views and photo opportunities. BEST View Point you need to visit in Hong Kong🌃
#timetotravel #hongkong
Having seen night views from various places, I often find The Peak in Hong Kong to have the most beautiful view. I truly think night views from Hong Kong is the best!
When I went up there, it felt really comfortable, and I saw many photography enthusiasts capturing the scenery.
how to go?
Everyone can go up and enjoy the night view easily.
- From Central, take bus 15 (HKD $11.5 one-way)or X15 (HKD $14.2 one-way)from Exchange Square (MTR Central Station Exit A / MTR Hong Kong Station Exit B1) to the terminus at Peak Galleria
-minibus 1 (HKD$10.9 one-way) from Two ifc (MTR Hong Kong Station Exit F) to Peak Galleria. Alternatively, you can take the Peak Tram from Garden Road to the Peak Tower.
- Alternatively, you can also take the Peak Tram. Opinions on taking the tram may vary, but the one-way adult fare is $37. You can also consider buying a package ticket for $99, which includes a round-trip on the tram and admission to Sky Terrace 428.
😎In fact, you can also go hiking at The Peak.
1. The easiest option is to walk around The Peak. Take the Lugard Road or Harlech Road to enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Hong Kong.
2. Take the Mount Austin Road from The Peak Galleria to reach Victoria Peak.
3. Take the Old Peak Road, passing by Barker Road Station, and hike up to The Peak.
There are even longer hiking trails for those who want to explore further. Feel free to discover them on your own.❤️

10 am to 11 pm (Mon - Fri)
8 am to 11 pm (Sat, Sun & Public Holidays)

#hongkongtrip
Peak is a must-visit spot for tourists, including locals.
Bus, taxi, tram, and hiking are options to get there, this time I take the tram. It's so crowded at the tram station during weekends and public holidays but it's worth a try. Paying the fare with an Octopus card will be much easier and save time. When getting into the train take the right side if you want to enjoy the view while riding up the hill.
Arrive there, we can enjoy the beautiful view of Victoria Harbour and skyscrapers from a high level at some lookout points.
Madame Tussauds is one of the attractions there. Taking photos with your favorite one.

It's never a proper Hong Kong vacation without stopping over at the Peak. My last visit was way back in 2016 and this time we decided to go during the early hours to escape the crowds. If you're looking for an alternate spot to the Observation Deck to take those Harbour pics. The Lions Pavillion located along the hike trails offers equally stunning vantage shots. But you must come early as the pavilion is quite small. Restaurants within the mall also serve up some breathtaking views.

Hong Kong from ABOVE😍 BEST city view!
Victoria Peak, known simply as The Peak, is a must-see Hong Kong destination. Day or night, with or without a drone, travelers can capture a fantastic birds-eye view of the entire skyscraper-flanked Victoria Harbour.
As the tallest hill on Hong Kong Island, with an elevation of 550 m, The Peak contains scenery of both incredible city skylines and natural forests and plants.
Vistors can take an easy bus from central or ride in a tram up the mountain.

Hong Kong | I found Alice's Secret Garden 🌺 full of rhododendrons in bloom.
🌸*Hello, everyone. I'm Tangyi. Every day, I want to share with you the beautiful moments I find in life.
*My friend came to Hong Kong and wanted to go to the Peak, so I took her to the Peak Park where I saw many blue hydrangeas blooming years ago. Although there are no hydrangeas now, it is still as beautiful as Alice's Wonderland garden! Full of fairy tale feelings!
*The mountain top park in spring is so beautiful! The lawn and trees are all healing shades of green, with blooming azaleas everywhere. It's very peaceful and there aren't many people.
·
💐About Shan Ding Park;
*The Peak Park is located on the top of Victoria Peak, higher than the location of the Peak Plaza.
*This is a pet-friendly park where you can bring your own dogs and cats to run freely on the grassy mountain top.
On a sunny day, you can enjoy a beautiful sea view and sunset from the mountaintop park.
*There is another historical landmark here: the guard room of the former governor's mansion on the top of the Old Governor's Mountain.
After visiting the Peak Park, you can also come down to the Sky Terrace, Lion Pavilion or Lugard Road Lookout to enjoy the night view of Victoria Harbour. Admission fee is required for the Sky Terrace, while the Lion Pavilion and Lugard Road Lookout are free of charge.
·
🚌How to get to the mountaintop park:
1️⃣Take the Peak Tram to the final stop and continue walking for 15-20 minutes to reach the mountaintop.
2️⃣Take bus No. 15 from Admiralty or Central Pier No. 5 to the final stop at Peak Tram Terminus, then continue walking uphill for 15-20 minutes.
3️⃣Take a taxi directly to "Shan Ding Park" (not Shan Ding Square, Shan Ding Park is the one on the top of the mountain)
·
📷Recommended photo spots for check-ins:
1️⃣Alice Park at the highest point (you can go up to the observation deck and take photos from top to bottom)
2️⃣ Lawn and pavilion
3️⃣Guard room of the former governor's mansion at the mountaintop.
4️⃣At the highest point of ShanDing Park, you can see the observation point of XiGaoShan to the west.
5️⃣A small path covered with rhododendrons
·
📌Check-in tips:
*There are wild boars on the mountaintop, please do not feed them~
*Temperature is low on the mountain, it is recommended to bring a jacket.
·
🍃Mountain Top Park:
📍Address: Mount Davis Road, Victoria Peak, Hong Kong.
🚌Transportation: Take the cable car to the final stop or take bus No.15 to the mountain top square, then walk 15-20 minutes to the mountain top park.

The city with the most skyscrapers in the world - Hong Kong.
According to Wikipedia statistics, Hong Kong has the most buildings over 100 meters in the world, with 1985 buildings, more than twice the second place New York with 830 buildings, and the third place Shenzhen with 570 buildings. The view from Victoria Peak is very impressive.
On the weekend, go hiking in Hong Kong, take bus route 15 up to Mid-Levels, get off at any station and you can see the bustling high-rise buildings on both sides of Victoria Harbour.
Victoria Peak
Also known as Victoria Peak, it is the tallest hill on the western half of Hong Kong Island with an elevation of 552 meters.
Most people visit the peak either by taking the tram at the Peak Tram Lower Terminus located at 33 Garden Road in Central or taking bus number 15 from Central (Exchange Square) bus terminal.
Victoria Peak is a must see destination in Hong Kong both day or night. It offers fantastic views of Central, Victoria Harbour, Lamma Island and surrounding islands.
The Peak's two shopping malls, Peak Galleria and The Peak Tower offer a wide range of food, beverage and entertainment options.
Bird Eye View of Hong Kong 😍 👀
Victoria Peak is a hill on the western half of Hong Kong Island. It is also known as Mount Austin, and locally as The Peak only generally. 📷
With an elevation of 552 metres, it is the tallest hill on Hong Kong Island, and the 29th tallest in the territory of Hong Kong.😎
When you arrive, you'll be met a wonderful mall where you can buy food and drinks before or after the hike. 💥
I'd recommend the Peak Tram and the Sky Terrace as options to get the most out of your time here. 📷

Victoria Peak Hike - Most Scenic View in Hong Kong
Getting There - Take Bus 15 or Peak Tram in Central to The Peak
Located on Victoria Peak on the western side of Hong Kong Island, Victoria Peak Hike is one of the best hikes in Hong Kong. The trail is easily accessible and can be done in less than an hour. You can see a gorgeous panoramic view of Kowloon on a fine clear day and some of the neighbouring islands in the South China Sea.
High West is one of the peaks on Victoria Mountain on the western side of Hong Kong Island and it is one of the best spots to watch the Victoria Peak sunset.
From there, you can also walk down to a dreamy garden in which the Victorian pillars erected and you will be enchanted by the Victoria Peak Garden.
Visit the Peak - Hong Kong
Even though it was a cloudy day, it is well worth a visit to the peak in Hong Kong. My friend told me it was one of the best views, and it was worth it! Although it was a bit chilly at the top, particularly when the sun had set, it is a lovely afternoon out, you can take the tram for $60 up one way, with delightful views along the way. Myself and my friend got some drinks and food at the top, there are plenty of restaurants and souvenirs at the top, even with ice cream! There is a nice walk around the side to get a better view of the city. I would recommend visiting at sunset, so you get a nice view with the Sun and then with the night view as well. My friend and I took the bus on the way down which was 25$ and it took us straight to central station.

If you are visitng Hong Kong, Victoria Peak should be on your top list visit.
This is still the most expensive area I guess in Hong Kong and you can not only visit this tourist attraction but also have some pretty good food at local restaurants.
Victoria Peak is the highest point on the island at 552 meters above sea level. From the top of this mountain you can enjoy a magnificent view of Hong Kong, its skyscrapers, the Kowloon waterfront, and the mountains visible in the distance of the island.
Named after Queen Victoria. However, the other name of the hill is also known as Mount Austin. Back in the days of British rule, Victoria Peak was the area where the homes of the upper class were located. The Chinese were forbidden to settle in such an elite area. To this day, the Peak is considered the most prestigious place in the entire city.

Throw back to our Hong Kong trip before covid!
The Peak Hong Kong is a must-visit attraction when you are in Hong Kong!
In order to reach to the Peak, we took their transportation which is the Peak Tram. The tram ride was smooth, stable and the tram moves quite slowly. You get to see some scenery along the way, but the best scenery view is still at the Victoria Peak which is the highest point!
Once you get to the highest point, the views you get to see are breathtaking! We get to see the spectacular view of Hong Kong skyline and waterfront views. The Victoria Peak is located at 552 meters above the sea level.
This is something one may have to consider if you are afraid of heights.
When we get up to the peak, it is already night time and the night view is extremely beautiful! No regrets!

From the 552m above sea level, it is a breathtaking panorama lay before me. All the buildings standing along the perimeter of Victoria Harbour are like guarding her save. This is the beautiful view we can enjoy from The Peak.
We took the Old Peak Road trail. We're starting the hike from Central by walking up the inclined roads to Robinson Road and then following Old Peak Road up the hill. This trail is a favorite among walkers, joggers, and casual hikers. It's a paved road along the trail, very good for a family outing.

Hong Kong! This bustling little city that never sleeps. It’s filled with such amazing food, dimsum, chaar chan tengs (tea houses), restaurants, boba, and so much more! On the outside, Hong Kong looks like somewhere that everyone wants to visit due to the culture differences. And it’s filled with lots of shopping areas!
Hong Kong is also very populated, and everywhere you go it’s super crowded. It’s also common to see the homeless on the streets very often. Most people speak Cantonese (bit of a language barrier for most).
But Hong Kong was so beautiful, and it’s an amazing place not to be missed. it’s filled with so much culture and history. And the locals are so nice!
