From this spot, you can overlook the entire Old City of Jerusalem, and the golden dome appears to float above the city—a truly perfect vantage point. Visiting during sunset, when the sun begins to set, the golden dome, bathed in light, feels even larger and more sacred than it actually is. As you look at the Golden Dome, you don't feel like just a tourist wandering around. Instead, it feels as if you're a pilgrim walking through stories from thousands of years ago. Simply standing there makes the place meaningful. It is the heart of Jerusalem and a view that will remain etched in my memory for a long time. 🇮🇱-2 The fastest way to get to the #WesternWall is to enter from the #DungGate, but I prefer to enter from the #DamascusGate. You can slowly walk along the Arab market in the Muslim quarter to the Western Wall in the Jewish quarter, and then feel the soul contained in different areas. The entire #Jerusalem Old City is actually not very large, with a circumference of about 5 kilometers. It contains five main areas: Muslim, Christian, Armenian, Jewish and Temple Mount. According to the Hebrew Bible, Solomon's Temple (the First Temple) was built on the Temple Mount in the 10th century BC and was destroyed by the Neo-Babylonian Empire in 586 BC; the Second Temple was completed in 516 BC. In 19 BC, King Herod the Great began a large-scale reconstruction of the Temple Mount.
