[2025 Singapore ] Travel Guide for VivoCity (Updated May)

#AprilGoodDestinations2025 After finishing our trip to Sentosa Island, we took the MRT from Beach Station back to Sentosa Station in VivoCity. This happens to be the largest shopping mall in Singapore so we decided to have dinner here. VivoCity is a three-storey shopping mall and two-storey underground store, with open-air seating on the top floor and a rooftop outdoor area. VivoCity is also one of the few shopping malls in Singapore with two direct subway lines. VivoCity is the gateway to Sentosa. Most tourists going to Sentosa can go there via the MRT station on the third floor of the mall. This year, as Singapore celebrates its 54th anniversary, shopping malls have launched discounts related to the number 54, including 54% discounts and S$5.4 delicacies. After dinner, we took a short break and visited the square on the rooftop, then went to the supermarket downstairs to buy the necessary food and returned to the hotel to end today's Sentosa Island trip.

Day 1: Arrival + Jewel & Orchard Road Landed at Jewel Changi Airport, where the iconic Rain Vortex and lush greenery instantly made the airport feel like a destination on its own. After checking in, I strolled through Orchard Road, visiting the sleek Apple Store and browsing everything from big-name brands to indie finds. Day 2: City Icons, Vivo Vibes & Night Views Mid-morning, I checked out the colorful Old Hill Street Police Station, then headed to VivoCity for lunch and some laid-back shopping with waterfront views. It’s a great mix of local crowd and city energy. In the late afternoon, I made my way to the ArtScience Museum — both the architecture and exhibitions were visually stunning and immersive. From there, I walked over to Marina Bay Sands to explore the Apple Store on the bay, catch the golden hour views from the SkyPark, and watch the Spectra light and water show as the city lit up. Ended the night at Beach Road, where heritage shophouses and cool dining spots made for a relaxed dinner setting. Day 3: Orchard Morning & Garden Glow Spent my final morning back at Orchard Road — a bit of last-minute shopping and good coffee before checking out. In the evening, I headed to Gardens by the Bay, where the glowing Supertrees and mist-filled Cloud Forest were pure magic under the night sky. A dreamy end to a packed trip. Final Take: Singapore is the kind of place that balances fast-paced city life with quiet moments of beauty. Every minute counts here — and somehow, 3 days felt like so much more. #familytrips2024 Disney's Donald Duck-themed events at VivoCity are part of the larger "Disney+ Home: A Story for Everyone" interactive pop-up, which runs from March 18 to March 24, 2024. This immersive event, held at the VivoCity Atrium, features several themed rooms that highlight different aspects of the Disney+ universe. We were absolutely charmed by the cute display for photos in the Hall of Mirrors. This area was a thematic photo zone filled with props and backdrops from various Disney+ shows. During this event, attendees can participate in activities and stand a chance to win exclusive Disney+ merchandise.

We dined at their Vivo City outlet & the ambience is cosy, suitable for family and friends gathering. The menu is extensive that includes their signature boat noodles in chicken or beef and with rice noodles or springy noodles. We had a few bowls of the creamy Tom yum, Pathumthani & Ayutthaya noodles. Our favourite is the creamy Tom Yum noodles. The sambal fried rice is very flavorful. The Hot Steamy Sangkaya was simple & very delicious. The Kaya was creamy and the bread was hot and soft. A must try dessert. We completed our drinks with their iced Thai tea and lemongrass drink which are very refreshing.

Hello kitty lovers, Vivocity shopping mall is one place that you should be heading to. In conjunction with the mid autumn festival, Vivocity has come out with a beautiful light and decoration installation that is filled with many cute hello kitty & friends characters. This installation is located on the top floor of vivocity mall, where the open air outdoor space is. Walk through a colourful rainbow tunnel, say hi to hello kitty and friends, take lots of wonderful pictures/photos and carry lanterns as you walk around the area. We went up to level three to check out the hello kitty and Sanrio friends events. True enough, the hello kitty and sanrio characters looked very beautiful during the night. Parents brought along their kids to take pictures. Couples like us, walking through the rainbow tunnel and enjoying the walk. I am very happy that they have such a beautiful event happening at the vivo city. However the event will end in a month's time. Be quick, and visit the hello kitty and Sanrio friends.

Ramen fans listen up! If you are looking for a nice restaurant to enjoy good ramen in VivoCity shopping mall, this one will be right up your alley. Located on level 1 closest to the Sentosa boardwalk, this restaurant serves a mean ramen broth on top of other classic Japanese dishes like gyoza. The one I tried and will recommend is the black garlic one, where the broth had such depth of flavour as if it had been boiling for ages. Drop by and give it a try to see for yourself! #mysgmemories

Stumbled upon the newly open Tiong Bahru Bakery outlet in Vivocity. The pastries from this outlet did not dissapoint. #wecreate Want to have some fun for the whole family? Perhaps, it's time to head to the arcade to have some fun for both the young and old. Timezone is a big arcade on the second floor of vivocity shopping centre. This Timezone arcade is so big that it can house 4 mini bowling alley for kids and there is even a bumper car ride inside of it. The bumper car ride may have some requirements, where the rider must be above age 4 and above the height of 112cm. It was fun bumping into others at this ride. Other arcade games also include some ice hockey table, car riding games, shooting games, and many more. You can spend hours of endless fun at timezone arcade and it's a great way to bond with friends or family or a great way to even kill time. At timezone, you just need to purchase a game card with credits and you can start tapping this card at evert game station. After playing the games, game tickets are store in the same card and you can redeem prizes at the counter before leaving. Price per Person: $12 Rating: 3/5 I usually get my Hong Kong street food fix at the Lengendary Hong Kong at Jurong Point but it was too far so I found another Hog Kong eatery serving up similar food on google maps. The food here is not bad too, very classic Hong Kong dishes served like wanton mee, beef brisket noodles, chee cheong fun, and rickshaw noodles. I tried the beef hor fun which was very tasty! Good amount of wok hey and classic Hong Kong food grease hahah. The amount of meat in the fish was generous too. I also tried the pork cutlet curry rice which really reminded me of Hong Kong street food. I had my meal pretty quickly as there were many people eating and waiting to eat, just like Hong Kong. Most travel websites describe VivoCity as a shopping paradise for shopaholics 🎁💸 (probably a bit like Hong Kong’s Harbour City!), but this is obviously not my cup of tea 💁‍♀️～! Having said that, our family went back and forth to this mall twice just for "food hunting" 😋. There are many different types and grades of restaurants here, from fast food restaurants to various high-end restaurants, and there is also a "Food Republic" food court (but they are not too cheap)! It is very convenient to come here from Sentosa, and we have the hotel's QR code, which allows free round trip, unlimited times. In addition to food and drink, the mall also has an open-air playground where children can have fun. Vivocity is a huge mall which I personally love because I can get anything and everything there. It has many shops, restaurants, cafes, and even a big space with a wet and dry play area for kids! This play venue can be found on the 2nd floor of vivocity and has many different elements for the kids to climb, run, swing, jump and slide. So fun! There's even a wet zone where kids can do water play and have a splashing good time. Also, electronic animal rides can be rented for children to play with and to entertain them. Parents can rest and relax after a day of shopping at vivocity, while the kids can let our their energy and have great time at this kids zone. Perfect for everyone! Cakes are girls' best friend. At every moment, cakes are there for us. When we are sad or happy, we eat cake. On a special occasion like birthdays or christmas, we eat cakes too! And one of my favourite cake place is called Kele cake shop at basement 2 of vivocity shopping mall. Kele cake shop sells cake rolls with many different flavours and the good thing is these rolls are not too big so you can finish them easily without wastage. They have premium flavours such as lychee martini, Mao shan Mai to unique flavours such as avocado gula melaka, etc. I like that their outer sponge cake is soft and moist while the cream filling is rich and yummy. You got to try Kele cake rolls to know why I love it. #singapore

Along level 1 of the VivoCity shopping centre, there is a Japanese restaurant cafe that sells very tasty matcha desserts. Look for the signboard that says Kyoto Shokudo. Inside, I think the interior is really comfortable although there aren’t a lot of seats for peak lunch and dinner crowds. They also have mains food on top of the sweet treats, which are good too. #singapore

#valentinescape We have walked past Cafe Q Classified a few times in Vivocity and was tempted to go in. Today was a very special day as it was Valentine's day and thus, I took the opportunity to bring my wife there for afternoon tea. The reason why this cafe is so attractive because of the floral theme. They also took the time to decorate the cafe to match the special occasion. We proceed to order cappuccino, cucumber soda, banana Republic and summertime ahi. They all looked so attractive and tasted delicious too.

#valentinescape Address: 1 Harbourfront Walk #01-57 VivoCity Singapore 098585 We came across this German restaurant at VivoCity & decided on a combo set (consisting of a burger, side, drink & hot tea/mini Ritter chocolate) and an ala carte naked burger. Portions were big and definitely filling. The meal was also very affordable and satisfying. It's a great lunch/dinner date choice with your loved ones in a beautiful log cabin/forest setting, and overlooks the Sentosa island. You can even enjoy a nice stroll with your partner along the Sentosa Boardwalk after the meal at Hans im Glück VivoCity.

#yearofrabbit Immersed in Chinese New Year (Cny) festive season in Vivocity. The gigantic rabbit sits in front of the mall, wishing us wealth. Surrounded by many mini bunnies and some red poppies trees, it's really beginning to like holidays! Vivocity is a mall next to Sentosa Island. From here, we can either walk over or take the sentosa express. So visit the mall for these decorations before popping by Sentosa for more fun!

Before heading to Sentosa, come over to Vivocity and hunt for these cute rabbits at the outdoor atrium. It is a large space with an outdoor water fountain too. Many retail shops are having CNY sales too and you can get CNY themed menus at the eateries inside Vivocity. It is a crowded place because you can also take the Sentosa Express into Sentosa for free.
