Departing from Zhengzhou for a day trip to Kaifeng, whether you take the bus or the intercity train, the speed is quite fast and very convenient. I set off in the afternoon and took the intercity train from Zhengzhou East to Songcheng Road Station. After getting off the train, there is a bus that goes to the scenic area. I bought a joint ticket for three gardens, first visited the Han Garden, then went to the Kaifeng City Wall to watch the sunset, and in the evening, I went to Wansui Mountain Martial Arts City to watch a performance. The day's itinerary was packed and clear. Taiyuan has poetry programs, and the city wall also has a light show. What surprised me the most was the iron flower performance at Wansui Mountain at night, which was really fantastic, definitely the best I have ever seen. Wansui Mountain Scenic Area closes at 11 pm, and the last iron flower show is at 10 pm. By this time, many people have left, so you don't have to worry about not getting a seat in the audience. I went on a spontaneous trip with my travel buddy to Kaifeng, Henan, one of the eight ancient capitals with more than two thousand years of history.
