🏕Kaew Fa Chulamanee Temple was established in 1757. The exact history is unknown. People often refer to it as Kaew Fa Bon Temple because there is another temple called Kaew Fa Lang or Kaew Chaem Fa Temple. There is evidence that the temple exchanged land with the Chinese Lam Sam family and built the ordination hall at this location.
Important and interesting features within the temple include:
🏠The ordination hall with a two-tiered roof decorated with chofah, bai raka, and hang hong. Inside, there are mural paintings depicting the life of Buddha and the principal Buddha image in the Mara Vichai posture on a Chukchi base.
🏡The vihara houses the principal Buddha image, Phra Phuttha Siri Ayasawan.
🙏🏽Other Buddha images include Phra Phuttha Watthana, Phra Phuttha Sathaporn, Phra Phuttha Bowon Mongkhon, Phra Phuttha Wimon Ratsami, Phra Phuttha Di Prasert, Phra Phuttha Pa Loet Wi Lay, and Luang Pho Phet.
