this is absolutely gorgeous! among all the tourist attractions and viewpoints, I would say that this statue of Buddha with stairs has the best view of the surroundings of Pai. it’s a bit steep to walk up, but it’s worth it!!! you should be cautious about what you’re going to wear, no shorts will be recommended. it’s suppose to be a popular place to watch sunset, but unfortunately it closes at 6pm, and for the last few weeks, the weather in Pai has been quite rainy and cloudy, we went down right before 6. This is one of the best paces to watch sunset in Pai. It is not far away from the city center and only takes about twenty minutes to drive there by bike. the temple is open from 6 am to 6 pm everyday

On the first day, when I stayed at the Big Tree Swing Inn in Pai, I saw the Buddha statue on the opposite side of the mountain from the room on the mountain. I felt particularly spiritual.
