Wenlan Bridge, located on the Gongshui River in Xuan'en County, Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hubei Province, is a unique antique wind and rain bridge. The bridge is 80 meters long, 10 meters wide, and about 26 meters high. It has five spans and four spans. The lower part of the bridge is a steel-concrete structure, and the upper part is a full wooden structure. It adopts the architectural style of combining the Dong ethnic group's flower bridge and drum tower and the Tujia ethnic group's pavilion bridge. The 22 wooden rafts use the unique through-beam structure in southern China, the beam-column system connected by mortise and tenon rivets, the pavilion eaves are all flying corner brackets, and the ridge tiles are decorated with simple decorations, showing the beauty of ethnic architecture. Outside the brick and stone gatehouses on the north and south sides of the bridge head, there are a pair of sitting kirin and walking unicorn, respectively, which means "good weather and good harvest". This bridge is not only a major transportation route, but also a symbol of culture. It has witnessed the historical changes of Xuanen and carries the rich local ethnic cultural connotations. During the day, the bridge and the scenery on both sides of the Gongshui River complement each other, creating an elegant and grand atmosphere; at night, the neon lights are on and reflected in the river, like a dreamlike painting, which together with the surrounding musical fountains and the night view of Gongshui River constitute Xuanen's unique urban landscape.
