[2025 Jinan Attraction] Travel Guide for Wufeng Mountain (Updated Jun)

A national cultural relic from the Wei and Jin Dynasties hidden in the mountains of Jinan is unknown to the public. The old man in the village said, "Don't look for it, we've never seen it." Well, I have to find it today because of my rebellious character. So, this issue shares with you the hidden cultural relics in Jinan from the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties. This issue is not easy to shoot. After climbing a 400m hillside and a steep slope of broken stones, and crossing countless jungles, I found it. When I saw the real thing, I was so excited that my hands were shaking. You can watch and cherish it. Located next to Wufeng Mountain in Changqing, the "Lotus Cave Grotto Statue" was stolen two Buddha heads in 1996, and the cave entrance has been permanently sealed. There are more than 300 statues in the cave, which is very spectacular (see the comment area). It's a pity that I can't see it in the future. Fortunately, some statues are preserved on the wall outside the cave. These shapes alone have shocked me. The exquisite carving, smooth lines, and even the rock color of the year are still preserved. The erosion of the years has not affected its beauty, but it has witnessed more than 1,600 years of history.

Wufeng Mountain, named for the five peaks that are connected and staggered, is located within the Wufeng Mountain Street in the southeastern part of Changqing District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, 15.5 kilometers from the city center. Wufeng Mountain is connected to Mount Tai, and during the Yuan Dynasty, the Dongzhen Temple was built here, and later it was known as one of the 'Three Mountains' along with Mount Tai and Lingyan Mountain. The snow-covered Wufeng Mountain is like a dream, a fantasy, with every step the scenery changes, as if it were a fairyland. In the vastness of the world, only the tranquility unique to winter remains. The red walls and green tiles under the silver dressing, the clear and tinkling sound of Qingliang Spring, and the millennia-old ginkgo trees blooming with silver flowers are indescribably beautiful.

Emperor Yingzong favored the eunuch Wang Zhen, leading to his capture in the Tumu Crisis. Emperor Daizong succeeded to the throne, heavily used Yu Qian, won the Battle of Beijing, and welcomed back Yingzong. In the coup d'etat, Daizong was deposed, Yu Qian was killed, Yingzong was restored, and four kings were sealed on the same day. Prince De Zhu Jianlin was initially sealed in Dezhou, later changed to Jinan, the Prince De Mansion was built in Pearl Spring, with pavilions and water pavilions, golden and brilliant, extremely luxurious. Prince De passed on for seven generations, lasting more than 180 years. The Taoist holy land Wufeng Mountain Xuandu Temple is the incense court of Prince De, and there are six generations of Prince De's tombs on the southern foot of Wufeng Mountain. On the 19th, I visited Wufeng Mountain. From Yitianmen, Gengji Bridge, Thirteen Taibao, Yingxian Bridge, Dongzhen View, Millennium Ginkgo, Qingling Spring to Lotus Cave. The five peaks stand tall, shaped like a raised palm, clouds rise from ancient caves, springs emerge from stone cracks, mountain roads loop around, pines and cypresses line the road, palace temples and pavilions, steles stand tall. North Qinglong, ancient trees are lush, vines brush the face, dense shade blocks the sun, valleys are deep and secluded; South Baihu, water gushes like a wheel, spring water gushes from the bottom of the valley, the spring source is up, pearls fly upside down, gargling stones and pillow streams, the sound is like a tiger's roar. The five peaks of Wufeng Mountain from west to east are Yingxian Peak, Wangxian Peak, Huixian Peak, Zhixian Peak, and Qunxian Peak, each scene shines, and there is emotion everywhere. Yingxian Peak is steep and dangerous, steep as a cut, the top is like a Taoist crown, the back is like a reclining Buddha; Wangxian Peak is beautiful with forests, surrounded by streams, and shrouded in clouds and mist; Huixian Peak is dangerous and steep, welcoming auspicious clouds in the morning and reflecting colorful clouds in the evening; Qunxian Peak's ridge rises and falls, the mountain path twists and turns, the vegetation is lush, at dusk, the moon is round on the top of the peak, the clear radiance spills, looking far away, it looks like a woodcutter carrying firewood and returning at dusk. The two mountains are sandwiched, shaped like a pass, this is Yitianmen. Not far to the east, there is a small stream on the north side of the road, and the bridge over the stream is Gengji Bridge. To the east of Gengji Bridge, there are five heart-piercing cypresses, five vigorous branches born on the old stump, there is a hole in the center of the stump, the trunk is twisted and cracked, but the crown is full of branches and leaves. After the Thirteen Taibao, the front of the noon gate is Yingxian Bridge. Wufeng Mountain was developed in the Northern Wei Dynasty, expanded in the Jin and Yuan Dynasties, and flourished in the Zhu and Ming Dynasties. The courtyard-style layout, the hall-style architecture, red pillars and green tiles, flying eaves of the Xieshan style, colorful arches, carved beams and painted buildings. Dongzhen View is equipped with Jade Emperor Hall, Three Yuan Hall, Three Qing Hall, which is the essence of Wufeng Mountain. During the Jin Taihe years, Dongzhen View was built by Quanzhen Taoist priests Qiu Zhiyuan and Fan Zhiming. The ginkgo tree planted at the beginning of the construction of the view is now more than 30 meters high, the trunk is straight, the crown is like a cover, covering the entire courtyard. In the deep autumn, a piece of golden ginkgo leaves, like butterflies, fluttering their wings and flying around. To the east of the ginkgo tree is Qingling Spring, clusters of water bubbles, slowly rising in rotation, piercing stones and drilling holes, water and stone stimulate each other, making a sound, flowing into the pool, the pool water is clear, the pool is full of water overflowing, winding into a stream. There is a platform by the water, and there is a pavilion on the platform, the pavilions are staggered, and the reflections are in the waves. The wall is cut a thousand feet, overlooking the deep abyss, the Lotus Cave is carved on the cliff by the abyss. In the summer of 2015, I met Wang Jin Snake here, the snake body is cylindrical, the color is like rape flowers, about three meters, more than twenty pounds. It looks like a giant python, fast as lightning, the scene in front of me has only been seen in 'Animal World'.
