Compared with Xiamen and Quanzhou, Putian is really a niche city! The perception of Putian is that it is a place where shoes are made. On the way to Fuzhou, I happened to pass by Putian, so I decided to take a stroll. It turns out that Putian also has an ancient street. And it is very lively and you can definitely spend most of the day there. 📍Xinghuafu Historical and Cultural District 💰Free 🅿️There is parking nearby ✅This is a must-visit place when visiting Putian. The attractions are relatively concentrated, so it is not tiring at all to walk with the elderly and children. ⛩️Guqiao Building can be said to be a landmark of Putian. Located in the center of Putian City, it was built in the eighth year of Taiping Period in Song Dynasty and has a history of more than one thousand years. At first I thought it was just a city tower, but after walking around it, I found that I could go up to the second floor and overlook the cross street. The second floor is a study room where you can take a break, drink tea, and collect stamps. After that, we will pass through the archway of the famous literary city and continue to shop and eat. If you have time, you can also visit it until night. It is said that this place is more charming at night. Although we didn't visit the scenic spots until night, it was still worth the trip. 😊 If you want to see the most festive New Year in the country, you have to look at Fujian, especially the Spring Festival in Putian, twice a year, Putian Lantern Festival, a month of joy. The month-long carnival is unique in the country. Before the festival, I came to Putian and felt this lively atmosphere in advance at the Xinghua Mansion Historical and Cultural Block. 💫 Seaside Zou Lu Wenxian famous country, as the core part of the provincial historical and cultural city, Xinghua Mansion Historical and Cultural Block is the essence of Putian's millennium cultural context, carrying the ever-new cultural heritage and urban memory. The block has six ancient streets with well-preserved street patterns, such as Dalu Street, County Lane, Back Street, Yihou Road, Temple Front Road and Fang Lane, etc. The contiguous Ming and Qing ancient buildings form a landscape area with Putian's local traditional characteristics. During the Spring Festival, the roads are decorated with lights and hung with red lanterns, which are particularly festive and attract many citizens and tourists to check in! 🔥 There are 18 cultural relics protection at all levels and 14 historical buildings in the block; there are 6 ancient streets with well-preserved street patterns, and from February 4th, various folk activities will be staged here every day until March 2nd, Minfeng Songyun are all here. 🧧 A song 'Surprised Swan Dance', like a flowing poem, takes people into the leisurely time of the millennium Xinghua Mansion with elegant rhythm. 🧧 The champion parade interprets the lively scene of the champion returning home after the high school in ancient times. It can be described as a 'famous country of literature' and 'hometown of champions', with a strong academic atmosphere. 🧧 Listen to a 'Putian Xian Opera', Putian Xian Opera is one of the oldest dramas in China's existing dramas, originally named 'Xinghua Opera', which was developed on the basis of ancient 'hundred dramas'. Putian Xian Opera originated in the Tang Dynasty, was established in the Song Dynasty, flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and shone in modern times. It is known as the 'living fossil of Song and Yuan Nanxi'. 🧧 The dressed-up little sisters and the little brothers in the champion's clothes also bring a festive atmosphere to the block, and every smile and frown is heart-moving. 🧧 The fish lamps and flower lamps at the end of the street are also particularly festive, and they are even more beautiful after the lights are turned on at night! 😍 On the ancient street, you can also eat a variety of local snacks in Putian, such as this Tianjiu Wang Qiang meat, the meat of Qiang meat is delicate, smooth and delicious, the tofu balls absorb the essence of the soup, fragrant and delicious, making people's appetite greatly increased. I happened to encounter a long street red group banquet, led by Chen's red group, tasting the authentic Putian Xian flavor. 30 tables are lined up in a row, and 13 dishes are served one by one. 🔥 After 1400 years, today's Xinghua Mansion Historical and Cultural Block is brilliant. Come to Putian for the New Year this year, check in at Xinghua Mansion, eat authentic Putian Xian snacks, and taste the intangible cultural heritage.

After visiting Meifeng Guangxiao Temple, walk directly to the nearby Xinghua Prefecture Cultural Block for a stroll, which takes about ten to fifteen minutes. Here, there are six ancient streets with well-preserved street patterns, including Dalu Street, Xian Lane, Back Street, Yihou Street, Temple Front Road, and Fang Lane. The buildings inside are historical and cultural buildings preserved from the Song Dynasty. There are various elements for photo check-ins, and my favorite is the lantern wall inside, which is colorful and beautiful. I quickly took a few photos, and there was also a wishing tree next to it, which was also very photogenic. You can also see many traditional snacks from Putian, including Putian braised noodles, fried meat, oyster pancakes, red dumplings, soy milk stir-fry, fried buns, etc. There are also many traditional cultural shops, antique shops, tea houses, calligraphy and painting shops, sugar painting shops, dough figurine shops, Hanfu and cheongsam experience shops, etc.
