In addition to the two enclosed houses, Yaxi also preserves more than 100 traditional Hakka houses with unique styles. There are two surrounding houses in Yaxi Ancient Village worth seeing. One is the Fuxingwei in Tuwei and the Yafengwei in Shiwei. Yaxi Tuwei, the famous "Fuxingwei", was built in the Xianfeng Period of the Qing Dynasty (1856) and has a history of more than 160 years. The earthen enclosure is in the shape of a rectangular "mouth". It is made of adobe bricks and has three floors and seventeen rooms on each floor. Shiwei name "Yafengwei" was built in the Qing Dynasty (1885). Although it is younger than Fuxingwei, it is also a century-old ancient house. Yafengwei's empty brick cannons, granite gates, fire-proof tapping devices, and exquisite woodcarving stone carvings are unique in the Weinan enclosure. Actually, Yaxi Village lived in Jinling in ancient times. Due to the war in Jinling, the river was selected along the river, which is today's Yaxi Building, and then settled here. Chen's Ancestral Hall is the place where the ancestors of the Yaxi Chen clan sacrificed their ancestors.
