At the Japan-US Friendship Festival, Yokota Air Base is open to the public, and you can enjoy various events held. Open from 9:00 to 20:00. Every year, over 100,000 people visit over the two-day event.
Yokota Air Base is home to the 374th Airlift Wing of the US Air Force, and its C-130J and UH-1N aircraft are on display. In addition, F-16 Fighting Falcons will also fly in from Misawa Air Base. An airborne parachute performed by the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force will also be on display.
