The Zhongahan Park, situated in Qingdao, is beautiful throughout the year, yes, even during the winter months.
On this fairly cold winters day, we visited the park and the surrounding attractions.
The views from the park, are magnificent, especially when the sunlight compliments the moment.
There is ample seating space around the park, ranging from wooden park benches, to concrete table and chair sets.
Facilities are well kept, and restrooms are redely available, throughout the park.
This is a peaceful and tranquil environment, the ideal place to go to, if you want to enjoy some peace and quite.
Asside from the geese and other bird life, there is no noice at all.
Although it was winter, the tree leaves still looked just as colourful as during Autumn.
Michael & Nici Exploring China and Beyond Qingdao Zhongshan Park invites you to enjoy the cherry blossoms
With the spring breeze on your face, the cherry blossoms in Qingdao bloom as scheduled, and in Zhongshan Park, one of the top ten cherry blossom viewing spots in the country, the trees are already in full bloom.
Qingdao Zhongshan Park's bond with cherry blossoms dates back to the early 20th century, and now the park has more than 20,000 cherry trees, with a 660-meter-long Cherry Blossom Avenue sketching out the romanticism of spring in the park.
Standing under the cherry trees, it's as if you're in a two-dimensional fairy tale world, with patches of pink overhead stretching all the way to the bottom of your heart, complemented by European-style street lamps on both sides of the road, evoking a sense of classical beauty.
You can also wait until nightfall to enjoy the night cherry blossoms. When the street lamps are lit, the cherry blossoms are even more delicate under the light, shedding the hustle and bustle of the day, allowing you to indulge in the tranquility and listen to the whispers of the night cherry blossoms.

🚶Magnolia Viewing Route:
Zhuhai Road ➡ Donghai West Road ➡ Zhongshan Park (If you're short on time, you can go directly to Zhuhai Road)
📍Zhuhai Road
Walk 500 meters from Exit C of Yan'erdao Station on Subway Line 2, and both sides of the entire Wen Road are lined with blooming magnolia flowers🌼, just like a Magnolia Boulevard, absolutely beautiful! Highly recommended! 🤩 You can take an overhead shot from the little house on the right, there's a wooden ladder, but be careful~ It's suggested to go in the morning when there are fewer people, and the midday light is also very good. Although cars are parked on both sides of the road, it doesn't affect taking photos. Be sure to walk all the way to the end, where there are more flowers and fewer people.
📍Donghai West Road
Walk 500 meters from Exit D of Wusi Square Station on Subway Line 2, go straight out of the subway exit, turn left at the intersection, and walk in the direction of the May wind, you will see more than a dozen magnolia trees along the way. You can take photos of the magnolia flowers with the buildings behind, or the bus stop sign at Wusi Square🚏. Friends who are on their way to Wusi Square can come here to take pictures.
📍Zhongshan Park
Walk 500 meters from Exit A of Zhongshan Park Station on Subway Line 3, follow the Cherry Blossom Avenue all the way inside, and you'll reach the Magnolia Garden. Here, about 7.8 trees have bloomed, not yet in full bloom, and the effect will be even better next week. Currently, Zhongshan Park has only a small portion of plum blossoms and magnolias open, and the cherry blossoms will not bloom until around the Qingming Festival~

Strolling around the old town of Foshan Chancheng, I stumbled upon a treasure park—Zhongshan Park, a seriously underrated niche treasure park. Entering the park is like stepping into a green wonderland, with a high coverage of green plants, a sea of lush greenery, and fresh air. Walking in the park feels like time has slowed down, making one's mood pleasant.

Zhongshan Park was established in 1930, and it has a history of more than 90 years. It was built to commemorate Mr. Sun Yat-sen and is the first public park in Foshan.
This park carries the memories of a generation of Foshan residents, and even now, it remains a favorite place for locals.
The park's scenery is beautiful: the octagonal pavilion, arch bridges, and the beautiful lake, each corner is as picturesque as a painting, and you can also see the blooming kapok flowers in the park.
Feeling the spring in the park and strolling around is really comfortable. There is also a greenway in the park, and it's common to see locals walking slowly or jogging, full of the breath of life.

There are many green plants in the park, so be mindful of mosquitoes. You can bring a mini bottle of mosquito repellent to prevent mosquito bites.
