I had never been to a safari park prior to Knowsley, but it certainly set the bar high. There were so many animals! It was thrilling having the lions less than a foot away from your car. There's a section with baboons who will just jump on your car and hitch a ride for a while. It was out of this world! I had an amazing time. I would recommend this place to any animal lover. The place is very well-maintained and the animals seemed to have an excellent quality of life, they looked totally content and healthy. There is also a big section with birds of prey and a seal show. Also a small area with fairground rides for the children 👍🏽
