What’s cool is how spread out everything is, so it feels like an adventure just getting from one site to the next. I rented a bike at the entrance, and that made it way more fun and breezy. The paths are shaded and peaceful, and every now and then you stumble across an ancient pyramid or structure hidden in the trees. The highlight for sure was climbing the big pyramid, Nohoch Mul. The view from the top is pure jungle as far as you can see. It’s a bit steep but totally worth it. Cobá feels way less crowded than other sites too, which makes the experience feel more personal. Super laid back and definitely one of my favorite stops in the area.

Down below are seven beach entrances where you can chill in white sand and turquoise water, making it feel like an adventurous beach day. Inside the Visitor Center is the Museo de la Costa Oriental, a modest but interesting museum showcasing Maya artifacts and culture. Go early, bring water and sun protection, and enjoy the ride.

The Maya Railway is the newest railway that runs through Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula 🇲🇽 If you're a little worried about traveling by bus in Mexico, I recommend traveling by train 🛤️ You can reserve tickets in advance online, so you can travel with peace of mind even during peak seasons 🌼 I traveled by train from Cancun to Valladolid. There are stations in famous places such as Merida. There is a convenience store on the train where you can buy drinks and food. The interior of the train, including the restrooms, was very clean and comfortable. There is a security check at the station, so I was able to board the train with peace of mind. There were also many staff members at the station, which gave me a sense of security. There are seats facing each other, so I thought it was nice that you could choose the perfect seats depending on the number of people. #0yentravel

#favouriteitinerary This was an incredible first experience at an all-inclusive and our first time in Mexico. Everything about the resort is clean and orderly, housekeepers and maintenance staff do a great job day in and day out. The buffet food is all good quality, and the food at the a la carte restaurants is just another step up! Waiters and hostesses were always friendly and provided a high level of service. There is tons of stuff to every day, and pretty much all day long. From yoga/pilates at the gym in the morning, to games at the pool, parties on the beach, live shows and disco club at night there's always something to keep yourself engaged with. If that's not your speed, there are plenty of more secluded areas to hang out in for a quieter and more low-key vacation if that's what you prefer. The entire property felt safe and secure all hours day & night. Can't say enough good things about this place, and can't wait to go back in the future at Grand Sunset Princess.

As you walk through the jungle with your equipment on your back, you will come across a cenote with a gaping hole. A large cloud-like layer of hydrogen sulfide appears at about 30 meters, and as you are sucked into it, you will feel as if you have wandered into a forest at night. Because of the deep depth, you will need an advanced license or higher. There are many diving shops that recommend cenote diving from the second day onwards. Of course, you will need an AOW license.
