We had a short day to enjoy the city of Treviso after a few days in Venice, and I have to say it was the best day of our trip! The town is beautiful, with amazing water and canals flowing through and the historical city center has old walls surrounding it. It’s also super easy to reach from Venice (40 minutes by regional train or by bus). The train is only about €4 from Venice and it takes you out of the hustle and bustle of Venice to a quaint little community. Must-Try Foods! 1. Etto for lunch. It’s a build your own pasta dish and it was fabulous. I ordered the ragù but I could highly recommend the amatriciana or pesto dish. 2. Gelateria La Romana for dessert. The best gelato you’ll have in Italy! Currently they have a collaboration with Ritter Sport for some different flavors but they have a great collection of vegan gelato options, too. It’s a small city center but very fun to walk around and check out all of the restaurants and cafes. Highly recommend!!

If you want to drink Prosecco and watch the sunset, you must go here to Osteria!! The sunset that stretches all the way down to the village is so romantic. If you go up, there is a machine that sells wine and you can sit on a chair and drink.
