Maharloo Lake is located in the highland of Shiraz, Iran. It is dark pink in colour due to the red tides underneath, hence lovingly called the Pink Lake. It is a seasonal salt lake with the size approx 25000 hectres. Undoubtedly the most amazing and strangest sight I have ever seen and honestly ,it made me nervous. We took a flight with Paramotor that made it possible for us to the the lake from high above. Drive or hire a taxi to get there as it is not accessible to public transportation. Get the taxi to wait up whilst you do the touristy stuff and selfies. There is no other activity than taking pictures, walk on salt, paragliding, picnic and a little hike along the lake. There were flamingos! A lot of them too. I can't fully describe how i feel about this place, yes it was pretty, 100%..but it was also so very strange. Almost feel like you are in some sci-fi film. It reminded me of Vormir (avengers, where the soul stone was (found). It is insanely beautiful and scary at the same time. Niyayesh Hotel, traditional Shiraz style house, but also a restaurant + hotel. I would definitely recommend the restaurant since the service is super good and the people working here are really nice. but the hotel is a bit old dated and was not super clean, especially the bed, it feels not clean..

Vakil mosque, this is actually a very nice place with way less tourists. Entry ticket is about 4 dollars per person, which is 9 times higher than local. The structure of this mosque has a rich history with really symmetrical columns.

I've just stayed in this unique and absolutely beautiful hotel in Shiraz Iran. I've never seen something like that before less been to and experience. My room included bathroom which was covered in a beautiful tiles. And outside, in the courtyard there is a pool and a wall, a huge wall top to bottom tiles as well! In the night time this wall is light up. There's also a restaurant which is serving delicious breakfast. I stayed at a hostel in Shiraz, Iran. The name is BB Hostel. It's a dormitory and costs about 5 euros per night. The exterior is barred, so you can't see inside, but when you go inside, you'll be surprised at how stylish it is. It's so stylish for this price. Isn't that amazing? I went to the Eram Gardens, a World Heritage Site! It's about 10 minutes by motorbike taxi from the center of Shiraz. The entrance fee for foreigners is about 6 euros.
