Visiting the Zhuangjia 7 Art Museum with my relative in China, was an eye-opening experience. Spanning multiple thoughtfully designed floors, the museum features unique concurrent exhibitions. Unlike the typical, fast-paced commercial jade markets, this museum completely redefines how we look at stone and sculpture. The museum masterfully blends traditional jade culture with contemporary art, stripping away commercial price tags to reveal the raw spirituality and vitality of the stone. . I've to say this is a "throwback', the first floor showcases the thought-provoking "Whisperer of the Horse" sculpture series, which uses human-horse motifs to explore deep philosophical connections. However, the real highlight is on the second floor, where you get to see some of the most breathtaking, high-value jade pieces up close. . Because of the immense value of the artifacts—some reportedly worth hundreds of millions—certain galleries are strictly managed. There are restrictions on touching, careful staff supervision, and a queue system to enter the more exclusive areas. . Stepping into these spaces feels surreal, especially with the immersive use of lighting, water, and spatial elements that make the raw jade feel alive and full of temperature. We even spotted incredible rare sea-blue jadeite pieces that served as true showstoppers. . It is an incredible spot that shows off the modern evolution of jade culture, moving away from repetitive factory carvings toward a blend of nature, raw emotion, and contemporary artistry. This is the most service area that doesn’t feel like a service area I’ve ever seen. The environment is great, the facilities are complete, everything you expect is here, and even things you don’t expect. I was amazed the first time I came. It completely changed my perception of highway service areas. Definitely a five-star rating 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 For RV travelers and those on long overnight trips, this place is truly a paradise! It has a driver’s lounge, capsule pods, showers, and the restrooms are spacious, bright, and upscale, completely overturning my traditional impression of highway service areas. The RV campground is also equipped with charging stations and water refill points. Waking up in the morning, the scenery outside the campground is beautiful, surrounded by flowers and plants, with an artificial lake and a small pavilion. Walking around feels like enjoying a small park 🍃 There are plenty of food options, including snacks and local specialty sugar tangerines 🍊, and surprisingly, there’s even DQ ice cream. Next door is Ka Island coffee shop. I met several staff members here, and their service attitude was very good. I sincerely hope service areas nationwide can follow Sihui’s example. We booked four trips with Nuratau Travel, and everything was perfect. The trip to the Aral Sea involved a lot of time in the car, which we were fully aware of. The driver was highly familiar with the area, drove carefully, and made stops at interesting spots where the guide shared captivating stories. The yurt camp was quite comfortable: equipped with down blankets, freshly made beds, and proper mattresses. The food at the camp was very delicious, and the highlight of the return journey was enjoying lunch with a local family. The seven-day trek in the Nuratau Mountains was my personal highlight in Uzbekistan. The hospitality of the families was exceptional, and the food was outstanding. We lacked nothing during the trek. The rooms were always very clean. Occasionally, the toilet (always a sitting toilet) was outside the building, but this is standard for such treks. We traveled in April and never felt cold at night. However, it's advisable to bring a silk sleeping bag for the blankets and warm clothes for the evenings, as meals are sometimes served outdoors. Most of the time, we could even take warm showers, and fresh towels were consistently provided—a service I never expected. The trip to the Seven Lakes in Tajikistan was worthwhile and enjoyable if you have enough time. Finally, we went on a short trek in the Chimgan Mountains. The tent was flawless, and we were provided with warm, thick sleeping bags. The mats could have been a bit thicker, but they were sufficient for the short duration. The food and service from the staff were excellent again, leaving nothing to be desired. We were treated like royalty. I wholeheartedly recommend Nuratau Travel and would book with them again anytime. Our recent trip to Huaiji and Sihui in Zhaoqing, Guangdong, was an incredibly fun and chill road trip! Combining driving with cycling, we had non-stop fun the whole way! 🚗🚴 First stop: Huaiji 🙌 It took us a good 4-5 hours to drive there from Hong Kong. Upon arrival, our first mission was to check in and pick up our race packs. Then, we headed straight to City Comfort Inn (Zhaoqing Huaiji Commercial Pedestrian Street Branch) at No. 25, Lane 6, Jiefang North Road, Huaicheng Subdistrict. The hotel's location is super convenient with eateries right next door. The facilities are brand new and fully equipped, making it absolutely perfect for road trippers. After dropping off our luggage, we immediately went hunting for food to gear up for the next day's hiking event. After all, you gotta fill your belly first! The event kicked off at Jinyan Square (about 170 meters west of X424 Qiaotou Passenger Transport Station, Huaiji County, Zhaoqing). The route gave off major "Little Guilin" vibes as we trekked into an undeveloped virgin forest, experiencing raw nature on our own two feet 😍 On the morning of Day 3, we hopped on our bikes to explore downtown Huaiji. We went to Tashan Cultural Park (Xingfu Avenue, Huaicheng Subdistrict, Huaiji County, Zhaoqing; open 24/7 all year round), which is about 3km from our hotel. I highly recommend checking out the view from the peak: a bustling city on one side and a rustic countryside on the other. It’s a striking contrast! In the afternoon, we moved on to Sihui, breaking up the drive so we wouldn't get too burned out. First thing after lunch in Sihui was a visit to Liuzu Temple. Taking a quiet stroll there was so healing 😌 Later, while waiting for sunset, we hit up two stunningly beautiful photo spots. I never expected to find such a chill place so close to Hong Kong! Unfortunately, the cafe at Thirty Bay Dive Center (No. 6 Zhixing Road, Jingkou Town, Sihui City, Zhaoqing) won't be open until later, officially launching around June or July. Definitely looking forward to their upcoming hotel~ Day 4 was another drive-and-bike combo. We revisited the Foshan Rifou Blue Mine, which we only caught a glimpse of the day before. This time, we drove to Dananshan Forest Park first and then cycled over. I booked this tour through a third party that provided barely any information, so I had no idea what to expect—but I was completely amazed by how well-organized everything was, from the accommodations to the tour itself, and especially our guide Sardor. Sardor was incredibly accommodating, offering our small group daily hiking options. He was also charming, fun, and highly knowledgeable about the region. Every request was met with a cheerful "no problem." 😆 The home stays were fantastic—tranquil spots in nature, nestled beside natural spring-fed creeks and surrounded by stunning, lush greenery. They far surpassed what I was expecting. Big thanks to Shadmond and all the wonderful families for their efforts at the home stays, their hospitality, delicious food, and for giving us the chance to stay with them.

The receptionist was polite 👍🏻, the place was decent, and the cleanliness was acceptable. It had a 100-inch projection screen, and the bed was larger than normal, which was great 👍🏻. However, the basement room was rather dirty and could be improved. Overall, it was okay.
