Province of Treviso travel guide and discussion

We had an amazing time hiking the Prosecco Trail. The self-guided tour was incredibly well organized, and it was delightful to hike each day carrying only a light pack with essentials. The accommodations chosen were excellent, particularly the breathtaking view from the restaurant terrace on the final evening. Airport transfers were smooth and efficient, guided by a friendly local expert. The proprietary mapping app was invaluable for staying on track, providing alternate routes and detailed insights about local landmarks. Kudos to the Beescover team!

#mediterraneanfood Pizzeria Arrigoni & Basso, renowned for its exceptional pizzas, has garnered significant acclaim, including an #award by Gambero Rosso and being listed in the Top 50 Best Pizzerias list! They offer both #traditional round pizzas and high-hydration "#pizza alla pala," all prepared with love and a passion for genuine Italian flavors. You can get most of the pizzas under 15 euro, but after 6 o'clock it is usually packed, so I recommend getting a reservation.

#cityplaybook When I arrived in Treviso, I quickly realized it’s far more than just a budget gateway to Venice. This charming Italian town has a unique atmosphere that deserves attention in its own right. With its peaceful canals, cobbled streets, and beautifully preserved medieval architecture, Treviso feels like a quieter, more authentic version of its famous neighbor. I wandered through the historic center, where elegant frescoed buildings and old city walls reminded me of its rich past. Piazza dei Signori was the perfect place to stop for an espresso and watch the town come to life. I also explored the tranquil Buranelli Canal area, lined with colorful houses and small bridges, offering picture-perfect views at every turn. Treviso is also known for being the birthplace of tiramisu, so I couldn’t resist trying a slice in one of the local cafés — and it was easily the best I’ve had. What surprised me most was how local and relaxed everything felt, without the tourist crowds. Visiting Treviso reminded me that sometimes the best travel moments happen in places people overlook. It’s a hidden gem worth staying in, not just passing through. #travel #thingstodo #staycation #italy

We had a short day to enjoy the city of Treviso after a few days in Venice, and I have to say it was the best day of our trip! The town is beautiful, with amazing water and canals flowing through and the historical city center has old walls surrounding it. It’s also super easy to reach from Venice (40 minutes by regional train or by bus). The train is only about €4 from Venice and it takes you out of the hustle and bustle of Venice to a quaint little community. Must-Try Foods! 1. Etto for lunch. It’s a build your own pasta dish and it was fabulous. I ordered the ragù but I could highly recommend the amatriciana or pesto dish. 2. Gelateria La Romana for dessert. The best gelato you’ll have in Italy! Currently they have a collaboration with Ritter Sport for some different flavors but they have a great collection of vegan gelato options, too. It’s a small city center but very fun to walk around and check out all of the restaurants and cafes. Highly recommend!!

If you want to drink Prosecco and watch the sunset, you must go here to Osteria!! The sunset that stretches all the way down to the village is so romantic. If you go up, there is a machine that sells wine and you can sit on a chair and drink.
