Please book your trip now to Azores! There are many good hotels there here in trip.com app. The island is INCREDIBLE. Check out those breathtaking view in the first two pictures 😱 and the those beautiful old houses in the downtown villa. You can book a flight to Ponta Delgada Aiport. 📍 Itinerary Overview: you should split the days according to their location. What we did was: one day east, one day west, one day center, several days for activities. You should only have fixed the activities. The days in the different areas should be flexible depending on the weather. The first day for us was raining in the west so we changed and went to the east to appreciate the beautiful weather. 🏖️ Must-Visit Attractions: I would absolutely go for the boat ride to see dolphins and whales! That was surely the best thing! 🚇 Transportation: you need for sure either a car or a private tour. Any other option will make you loose too much time. 📷 Photo Spots: in my opinion the best spot was in the east. Specifically Miradouro Ponta do Sossego! 🍜 Local Cuisine: if you want a full meal, try the fish. They will bring you massive plates with a lot of vegetables and fruits. This is traditional and will be like that in any place. 🏠 Accommodation: depending on what kind of holiday you like. If you want fully relaxing holiday (or at least the nights) anywhere in the island will be perfect. Irrespective of which islands you choose to visit, you’ll find new natural feats that give each island a unique personality. As we’ll talk about later, you’ll see dormant volcanic formations, winding caves, lively forests, and much more. And that’s not all! Region-specific plants and animals are scattered, hidden around the land. My personal favourite activity is Vineyards and this place has a UNESCO heritage vineyard. Making the culinary experience a step above others. Some of the island's specialities or popular local foods include cheese, seafood, and exotic fruits. In fact, cheese from the Azores is so tasty that half of Portugal’s supply comes from the island. During my time there i explored multiple historic sites that are UNESCO heritage. Pico island vineyard cannot be missed. Depending on the season it could also be a great spot for dolphin and whale watching. You will find plenty of good accommodations to suit a variety of budgets. In the past I have stayed in 2 different boutique styled places. It is absolutely worth a holiday here. The best part and whole tourists are starting to show up.
