Impressive Stadium Tour for Football Fans
We arrived with a coach tour at 11 AM and started off in the restaurant, where we watched a welcome video by David Moyes. Then, we got to view the pitch from one of the balconies, which was a breathtaking moment for me. From the South Stand, the view extended to the liver birds on the Port of Liverpool building and across the Mersey to the Wirral. The changing rooms were accessible, styled like matchday, complete with shirts of players like Pickford, Beto, and Grealish hanging above their seats, and the club crest on the ceiling was a lovely detail.
Walking down the tunnel to pitch side while listening to the Z Car theme added excitement, and sitting in the press conference room to imitate TV post-match interviews was entertaining. The tour wrapped up in the Club shop, which offers replica shirts and various merchandise. We were able to take plenty of photos, and Gail, the tour guide, was really helpful and informative. I'm thoroughly impressed with this stadium—Evertonians would adore this tour, and neutral football fans would find it very enjoyable too.

Beautiful Sunset at West Kirby Beach of Wirral Peninsula, Merseyside
It is so amazing and impressive to watch the Beautiful Sunset at West Kirby Beach of Wirral Peninsula, Merseyside. It is quite close to Liverpool City Centre. You can just take Merseyrail or Cross River Bus Number 437 and depart at West Kirby Station directly. There are lots of tourism attractions like easy and flat walking trails "Wirral Way" and around the Marine Lake, as well as pubs and restaurants near the train station. It may be very crowded under the hot weather!

Peaceful Grounds🌿
Port Sunlight is a model village on the Wirral Peninsula in England, created in 1888 by soap manufacturer William Hesketh Lever for workers at his factory. The village was designed to provide good housing, green spaces, and cultural facilities, reflecting Victorian ideas about social welfare and industrial progress. Its attractive cottages, gardens, and public buildings make it an important example of urban planning. Today, Port Sunlight is known for its historic architecture, museums, and art gallery. Visitors enjoy exploring its peaceful streets and learning about its connection to the Lever Brothers company and Britain’s industrial heritage during the nineteenth century

🌿 Exploring the Viking Trails of Thurstaston Hill
Location: Thurstaston Common & Royden Park, Wirral, UK 🇬🇧
If you're looking for a hike that packs coastal views, mystical legends, and woodland paths into one afternoon, the Thurstaston Common circular is a must-do on the Wirral Peninsula.
🚶 The Route
This ~5.6 mile (9km) loop is the perfect "leisurely-plus" challenge. We started near Irby/Thurstaston and climbed up the sandstone ridges. The elevation gain (about 600ft) is just enough to get the heart racing without being exhausting, rewarding you with panoramic views of the Dee Estuary and the Clwydian Range in Wales.
✨ Highlights & Must-Sees
Thor’s Stone: You can’t miss this massive sandstone outcrop! Local legend says it was a site of Viking worship. Whether you believe the myths or not, it’s a great spot for a photo and a quick scramble.
The Dee Estuary Views: On a clear day, the silver waters of the estuary look incredible against the yellow gorse bushes (which were in full bloom during my walk!).
Thurstaston Hall: Keep an eye out for the stunning red-brick gables of the Hall peeking through the trees—it looks like something out of a period drama.
Woodland Escapes: The descent through the birch and oak woods (near Royden Park) offers a peaceful contrast to the exposed hilltop.
💡 Top Tips for Travelers
Footwear: The sandstone paths can be slippery when wet, and the lower woodland sections get muddy. Wear decent hiking boots!
Coffee Stop: Head to Benty Farm Tea Rooms for a post-hike scone—it’s a hidden gem right on the edge of the common.
Parking: Royden Park is a great starting point with plenty of facilities.
A perfect day out for dogs, families, or anyone needing a breath of fresh sea air! 🌊🥾

Willard's Black Heart: A Training Journey of Self-Conversation
#February Destinations 2026 ### 🖤
Stepping into Black Heart Training Academy is like entering your own personal battlefield. There are no fancy slogans, only the rhythm of sweat and breath. Every grip on the bar, every burst of energy, is like a dialogue with your body, pushing you to your limits that you wouldn't normally face.
The training style blends various elements, combining the solidity of traditional weight training with functional exercises and high-intensity circuits, maintaining a brisk but not overly aggressive pace. Coaches don't just shout slogans; they provide reminders and adjustments at crucial moments, allowing you to challenge yourself within safe limits. The atmosphere in group classes is especially captivating; the focus and breathing of your fellow participants will unconsciously make you want to do an extra set or run an extra distance.
The relaxation time after class is a great opportunity to exchange experiences with other students. That shared understanding after experiencing the "burning" makes you want to return to this "Black Heart" again and again, continuing that journey of self-dialogue.

Hilbre Island, just a short drive from Liverpool!
There are 43 tidal islands within walking distance of the British mainland - and this one is just a half hour’s drive from the glorious city of Liverpool. Welcome to Hilbre Island!
If you set off from West Kirby on the Wirral Peninsula and head across the River Dee during low tide, you’ll come across a group of three islands - Little Eye, Middle Eye and Hilbre. As a registered nature reserve, visiting these islands is completely free of charge!
Home to an abundance of wildlife, visiting these islands is a real marvel. Look out for the seals who call this place home and often bathe in the river waiting for humans to depart so they can have free roam again!
As the islands are located about two miles from the mainland, make sure you bring proper walking shoes as it can be a little soggy! And make sure you check the tide times - the islands are cut off from the mainland for about 5 hours in every 12. You don’t want to get stranded! But you’ll have a brilliant day out - one the whole family can enjoy - if you make the trek to these picturesque islands.

West Kirby-soul chill
After the exam, I came to the West Kirby beach to relax my soul. When I was tired, I went to the coffee shop in the town to sit and eat. The only drawback was that the transportation was too underdeveloped. Haha
