After healing at the tranquil mountain temple and coming down, I stumbled upon a wonderful cafe—specifically, Baekdam Station Cafe. Perhaps because it is near Baekdamsa, the atmosphere was truly relaxing, starting with the view outside the window. It was the perfect place to rest and enjoy a cup of coffee. Since you have to take a shuttle to get to Baekdamsa, you can feel a bit more exhausted than expected after the visit. However, stopping by a trendy cafe like this completely changes the way the trip ends! With quiet music, a warm wood-toned ambiance, and a view that perfectly captures the essence of Mt. Seorak, it was a great spot for taking photos, making it the perfect way to capture travel snapshots. Osaek-ri is also well-known for its mineral water and carbonated hot springs. The carbonated mineral water has such a distinct taste that travelers make sure to try it at least once, and the hot springs are a popular spot to soothe tired muscles after a hike. But the best part of all was the valley scenery and lush forest vibes stretching along the road! In the summer, it's great for taking a stroll while listening to the refreshing sound of the rushing valley streams, and in the fall, it's famous as a spectacular spot for autumn foliage! For this trip to Sokcho and Yangyang, instead of a flashy ocean view, I decided on an accommodation that offers comfort and practical satisfaction. It is none other than Sokcho Mari Vista Hotel!! Let me introduce it to you. 🌅 First Impression: As expected, a brand-new building was different. The moment I stepped into the hotel, there was just one thing I felt! It’s clean. 💯👏👏 As expected of a newly opened hotel, the condition was very neat overall, from the guest rooms and hallways to the bathrooms. 📌 The location of Sokcho Mari Vista Hotel was much better than I expected. Everything is within walking distance. ✔️ Sokcho Beach ⛱️ is a 5-minute walk away. ✔️ The Express Bus Terminal is within walking distance. ✔️ E-Mart is right next door, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. 🛏️ We booked 3 rooms because there were 4 of us. The rooms weren't fancy, but they were properly equipped with exactly what we needed. ✔️ The bedding was absolutely perfect and clean. ✔️ Spacious (Family rooms available). ✔️ Some basic cooking facilities included. I especially liked the huge refrigerator, haha. There is a 7-Eleven convenience store on the first floor, so I bought plenty of beer 🍺 and put it in the refrigerator. 👏👏😁 🚗 However, the hotel parking lot is a bit small, so you might want to use the nearby public parking lot. It is there. 🌊 The real charm of this hotel The key to this place is the value for money! It was the best. So the price wasn't a burden, and everything was within a 5-10 minute walk.
