The tulips park
#springwander
"Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park" in Yubetsu-cho, Hokkaido, is a park with tulips blooming all over a large site. Many tourists visit the "Kamiyubetsu Tulip Fair", which is usually held from May 1 to early June, for about 200 varieties and 700,000 tulips. It's good to take a walk in the tulip field on your own feet, but it's also a good idea to watch it while listening to the explanation from the tourist guide on the electric bus "Tupit" that travels around the park.

[Airand YOU: Yubetsu Town, Hokkaido] A place where an amusement park and a roadside station are attached♪
There is a roadside station attached to the amusement park,
which has restaurants and other facilities.
When I tried to go to the amusement park,
it was during the COVID-19 pandemic, so it was unfortunate that only people living in Hokkaido were allowed in💦
But I was able to eat some delicious scallop curry at the roadside station that was attached to it👍️
Next time, I'd like to have as much fun as I can at the amusement park♪

Lake Saroma, the most beautiful sunset in Japan
#Spring/Summer Destinations 2024 #Hokkaido #Lake Saroma #Hokkaido East
Lake Saroma has a unique and beautiful blue lake surface - Saroma Lake Blue.
There is not much introduction about Lake Saroma in Chinese tourism. Lake Saroma is the largest lake in Hokkaido. It is separated from the Sea of Okhotsk by a sandbar about 20 kilometers long. It spans three towns: Kitami City, Saroma Town, and Yubetsu Town. It is also the third largest lake in Japan.
As the setting sun shines on the mirror-like surface of the lake, it is dyed with a variety of colors that change over time.
Although it was not sunny during the two days we arrived, it was still quite beautiful. The unique sunset, with the gradient blue and purple colors accompanied by the afterglow of the setting sun, was so touching that we hoped time would stop there.

Tulip Season🫶🏻
#springblossom Amazed by the variety of tulips in the park. It looks surreal! They have plenty interesting windmill, hill, bridge, big shoe, choice of digging out your tulip and platform for visitors to take photos at elevated height. Very vibrant and colorful place. I enjoyed myself a-lot here. Taking bus ride, per entry
is 600 yen. Best time to visit May -June. Please also check the timetable of the bus before going around the area.

Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park
#springblossom Visited in Mid-May and the tulip fields were almost fully filled out. The park is beautiful and has a large variety of tulips along with a few other flowers. They have a huge free parking lot with bathrooms and admission is ~600 yen per person. We arrived ~4pm, an hour before close, so we didn’t have enough time to check out the little store. There were several other booths that are probably open during peak season. Also the pamphlet stated there’s a section to dig up your own tulip for 100 yen, as well as costume rentals for 500 yen, but we arrived too late to enjoy all the festivities. Definitely worth stopping by!
