The scenery in Arxan is truly top-tier. It features a variety of heavenly pools scattered throughout, lakes covering the mountains, rivers flowing freely, lush pine and birch forests, birds flying about, crisscrossing canyons, and lava slopes. The park's planning and the design of its walking trails are of a very high standard. The diversity of the attractions and the high level of playability are close to the level of Jiuzhaigou. If your group has fewer than 3 people, it is best to buy a ticket for the park's shuttle bus. It can take you to all the attractions, and there are shuttles to pick you up and drop you off even when the entrance and exit are in different locations. If there are more than 4 people in your vehicle, you should buy the 300 yuan self-driving pass. However, because several attractions have different entrances and exits, once you reach the exit, you have to figure out how to get back to the entrance. The best must-visit attractions are Tuofengling Heavenly Pool, the Grand Canyon, Shitanglin, and Santan Gorge. You can only take one photo at Arxan Heavenly Pool before coming back down because there is no high vantage point for an overhead shot. You can even skip Dichi; it is just a round pool of water.
