捷山Calpe is a city in Alicante, Spain, roughly where Hangzhou and Ningbo are located on a map of China. The area boasts a spectacular, massive rock formation called the Peñón de Ifach. Alicante is home to many foreigners, mostly from less sunny parts of Northern Europe, so the city is quite modern. The seaside setting is pleasant, with opportunities for walking and running around the rock formations, and numerous marine sports. About 30 minutes west of Calpe is the distinctive town of Castell de Guadalest, also surrounded by numerous rock formations and a turquoise lake, reminiscent of China's alpine lakes – magnificent and tranquil. TheForkUserOn the positive side, the venue is very nice and the service too. On the food side, we took the taps of piroski (sorry for the spelling) which was missing some taste and was served lukewarm. The polish saucisse and potato was excellent. For main course, we had the Polish stuffed cabbage with rice and meat (one of my favorite polish dish), served with a tomato sauce. The cabbage was missing seasoning, the stuffing, too much rice and the sauce was more a tomato soup….on the other hand, the cod fish was very tasty and highly recommended. Our experience was a bit disappointing and therefore will try other restaurants…

健康美丽的芳芳the taj is a pretty good Southeast Asian cuisine restaurant. The dining environment is very elegant and their dishes are priced between thirty and one hundred yuan, with no dishes being particularly expensive.

6. Surf Beach Restaurant

TheForkUserExcellent quality of food & service, it’s amazing that such a level of excellence can be available on the Calpe beach. Very pleasantly surprised to find such a great restaurant on the promenade. Well done Mare Beach; we will definitely coming back soon, as good as any Michelin restaurant if not better.
