The pasta at lunch was solid, and the place has that cozy, lived-in vibe you don't find often. Good spot to sit with a glass of wine and a book for an hour or two.

Dropped by for dinner last week. Place looks great inside, really nicely put together. Had the grilled octopus and the beef cheek—both cooked properly, octopus had that nice char without being rubbery. Plating was tidy too. Service was okay, though a few different people kept coming to our table and it got a bit confusing. Not cheap, but I'd go back for that octopus.

Came here with a couple of friends after work and grabbed a table near the window. We ended up staying way longer than planned just playing board games and sipping beers. Staff didn’t rush us at all, which I really appreciated. Food was solid too, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Nice break from the crowded tourist bars nearby 😊

The old building alone is worth the visit. High ceilings, that historic vibe. We caught a concert here and the sound was surprisingly good. The bar next door is handy for a drink before. Only thing, it gets stuffy inside when it's packed. Could use more air circulation.

No. 2 of Clubs in Zurich

The owner actually brought our food out himself after closing, no delivery fee. That was really thoughtful. I ordered the kebab koobideh and the portion was generous, easily enough for two meals. Tasted fresh too. For Zurich prices, it felt fair. I appreciated not having to deal with a delivery app. Just a simple, good experience.

Risotto ai porcini was solid, piccata Milanese cooked right. Owner threw in a couple of appetizers on the house. Fair price for what you get.

Goulash was solid. Hearty, warm, exactly what I needed on a cold day. Mixed grill had good variety too. Staff knew their menu, gave decent suggestions. Fine spot for Balkan food around Zurich. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot.

We stopped by during the Christmas holidays and the place was all decorated, really cozy with that fancy touch. Service was on point, and the cakes were just divine. Definitely a nice spot if you're in the area, though it did get a bit busy. Still, worth the trip.

Been coming here for years and the pizza's still solid. What keeps me hooked is they remember my usual wine without me asking. Had the margherita last night, crust was properly charred. Place gets loud around 8pm but that's on me for showing up late. Good spot if you know what you're in for.

Solid lunch buffet, decent variety. Cakes were pretty good too. Staff kept things moving.

Breakfast spread was solid. Shakshuka definitely the highlight. They marked gluten-free stuff clearly, which helped. Service quick too. Nothing fancy but does the job.

The vegan dishes were super fresh, loved the texture of everything. Solid little spot if you need a quick bite.

The beef tartare had just the right amount of heat, and the truffle risotto was properly creamy. Nice spot, though definitely on the pricier side.

The gnocchi was really good and the hotdog surprised me—didn’t expect much but it worked. Portion size was fair for the price. Service was fine too, nothing to complain about.

Finally a place where I don't have to interrogate the staff about gluten. Even the soy sauce is safe. The vegan tofu bowl was fresh and tasty. Left full and happy.

The chocolate gipfeli was kinda pricey for what it was, but the other pastries looked solid. Service was on point though, and the vibe is nice for hanging out with friends. Probably stick to the other stuff next time.

Quick bite at lunch, no fuss. Got the daily special, came out fast and hot. Staff didn't hover, just let me eat. Solid spot if you're in a hurry.
