We sat down for a family thing and honestly the chairs were so comfortable we didn’t wanna leave. The owner came by a few times, made sure everything was alright. Food was good too, the à la carte menu had some nice options. Place felt relaxed, not too loud. Maybe a bit slow between courses but we weren’t in a rush anyway.

Came here for the tapas and honestly the flavors were solid. Some dishes arrived lukewarm though, which was a bit of a letdown. Service took a while too, but the staff seemed genuinely trying to make up for it. For what we paid, I just wish the pacing was a bit tighter.

The hummus and falafel were really good, and the owner made us feel welcome. Just a heads up, it’s tiny so you need to book ahead.

Steak tartare and entrecôte were solid. Café de Paris sauce did the job. Service friendly but a bit slow. Decent spot if you're nearby.

Food was decent for the price, but that new touchscreen ordering system is a bit of a pain. Laggy screens and the wait felt longer than it should've. Staff were friendly enough though.

Nice terrace for watching people go by in summer. Cocktails are good but prices run a bit high. Service was friendly and we never felt rushed.

The fish and chips were solid, exactly what you want from a pub classic. Good spot to grab a bite with friends, nothing fancy but it hit the spot.

Cocktails were solid and didn’t break the bank. Menu changes often, which keeps it interesting. Gets pretty loud and packed on weekends though.

The chicken doner with homemade bread was good—bread tasted fresh, meat was sliced a bit thick though. Sauces could use more punch.

The owner remembered us from last visit, which was nice. Had the mushroom soup again, still good. Portion was decent for the price. Place gets busy around noon, so you might wait a bit. But the soup makes it worth it.

Been coming here for a while now. The carbonara is consistently good, which is why I keep going back. It's a bit pricey for Aarau, but you get what you pay for.

The brunch spread really caught my eye—fresh bread, good cheese, and cakes that tasted homemade. Staff knew their stuff and were friendly, but don't come if you're in a hurry. Took a while between courses, which was fine for a lazy morning. I'd go back just for that bread, honestly. 🥐

The pinsa here is what keeps me coming back—light crust, not too heavy, and the pasta holds its own too. Staff got me in and out during lunch without rushing. Pair it with a decent glass of red and you're set. Portions are fair for the price. Just wish they had one more option on the lunch menu.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and grabbed the döner. Loads of veggies in it, which I liked, but the meat definitely has that processed taste. Place was packed around noon, so we grabbed our food and ate outside. Fine for a casual catch-up with a friend, nothing fancy.
