Popped in on a Thursday and there was a full Irish music session going on. Felt properly welcome. Guinness was lovely, creamy and all. Place had a good buzz without being mental. Just a solid spot for a pint if you&#39;re in the area.

Stopped in without expecting much. Got the tasting menu and honestly the lamb was the standout, cooked properly. Staff were sound, checked in a few times but not hovering. Price was fair for what you get, though it&rsquo;s not a cheap night out. Place was busy even on a Tuesday, so maybe book ahead. Wouldn&rsquo;t mind going back.

Been coming here on and off for a while now. The sirloin steak is consistently good, which is honestly why I keep going back. Had the burrata again last week, still as nice as the first time. Place gets a bit loud on weekends but that&#39;s on me for booking a Friday. The fondant was a solid finish too.

The curry here is seriously good, probably the best I&#39;ve had in the city. Portions are huge and the staff were sound. Definitely hitting that spot again.

The Nutella and strawberry crepe was good, but I reckon it needed another minute on the griddle. The gelato though, that&#39;s the real deal. Pastries are fine, but they don&#39;t come close to the ice cream. I&#39;d come back just for a scoop, honestly.

The brown bread here was the best I had on the whole trip. Cakes were fresh and there was a decent variety. Place was busy with locals, which says something.

The stir-fried noodles were proper good&mdash;plenty of beef and veg, with a nice little kick to it. Spring rolls came out crispy, and the sweet chilli sauce on the side was spot on. Only thing is the place got a bit busy around lunch, so we weren&#39;t rushed but it wasn&#39;t exactly quiet either. Still, I&#39;d happily go back for that noodle dish again.

The staff had a high chair ready before we even asked - that never happens. Food came out quick too. Nice relaxed vibe inside.

Stopped here on a walk by the bridge&mdash;easy to miss, but glad we found it. Sat outside, which was grand. Had the single origin americano, decent clarity and flavour. Staff were friendly enough without hovering. Only slight thing, the coffee took a few minutes longer than expected. But overall a fine spot for a quiet break.

Been going to this stall at the Milk Market for ages now. Got the chicken shawarma wrap again last Friday, still as good as the first time I tried it. They let me swap the garlic sauce for extra chilli, no hassle at all. Only downside is the queue builds up fast, but it moves quick enough.

The rhubarb sour was genuinely lovely, really well balanced. Fish and chips did the job for a late lunch, nothing fancy but decent.

The set menu was a good shout. Caesar salad came out plenty big, and the duck spring rolls were proper tasty. Bang bang chicken was nice too. Steak was cooked well, and the Hugo spritz hit the spot. Staff were friendly enough, and the low lighting made it feel relaxed. Only thing, it got a bit busy later on, but we were fine where we sat.

Stumbled onto this little Italian place tucked away from the main streets. Carbonara was proper &mdash; creamy, salty, just right. Staff were lovely, made it feel easy. Place itself is old-school cosy. Bit of a walk to get there, but I&#39;d do it again.

I ordered the paneer dish, the veggies tasted properly fresh, not the usual frozen stuff. Service was friendly, they even remembered my order from last time. Place gets a bit busy around 1pm though, so go early if you can.

Came here on a tip from a mate who lives nearby. Seafood chowder was proper creamy, plenty of fish in it. Steak came out cooked exactly as I asked. Staff were grand, even with the place packed for lunch. Menu&#39;s big enough you&#39;ll find something. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.
