Great spot by Yamuni. The Argentine owner's been here 20 years and it shows—he's always around making sure things run smooth. Jazz playing, old photos on the walls. Had a nice meal, service was solid.

The mixed grill for two was solid—meat cooked right and seasoned well. Good Argentinian wine list too. Staff were friendly enough.

The steak came out exactly how I asked, medium rare. That's not easy to find in Costa Rica, most places overcook it. I just had the grilled meat plate and it was solid. Service was quick too, didn't have to wait around long. Good spot if you're craving a proper cut.

The sangria was great and our server was super attentive. The parrillada was just okay though, my tenderloin had some tough tendons. Milanesa was way too cheesy for me.

The live music was great even with the place half empty. Canasta de carne hit the spot. Server let us chill for two hours without hovering.

The staff really listened when I asked about gluten-free options. They adjusted a salad for me without making a fuss. Vegetarian choices are a bit limited, but the fresh ingredients made up for it. I appreciated that they didn't rush me. Just wish they had more clearly labeled the menu. Still, a solid spot for a light meal.

Great thin-crust pizza and they didn't rush us at all. Wine list is solid too. Staff even brought over a little something after we finished eating. Nice touch.

Stopped by this place in Heredia looking for a cold one and ended up staying longer than planned. They got a solid list of craft beers, not gonna lie. Staff knew their stuff and pointed me to something I actually liked. Pizza was decent too, good enough to soak up the beer. Chill spot overall, nothing fancy but does the job.

The gallo pinto was solid and the staff didn't hover. Cozy enough for a quick breakfast. Prices are fair for what you get.

The picanha was spot on, tender and juicy. Lomo too. Buffet had a good spread, even some sushi which was a nice surprise. Service kept things moving, no complaints there. Just a solid meal overall. Maybe a bit busy for my taste, but the food made up for it.

The pintortilla was really good, definitely the highlight. Prices felt fair for the quality, not cheap but you get what you pay for.

The green croissant with chocolate and pistachios is the reason I keep coming back. Pastry's flaky, filling's generous, not too sweet. Coffee's solid too, honestly some of the best I've had around here. Place gets busy mid-morning, but worth the wait. Just wish they had more seating.

The vegan pizza surprised me—actually better than I expected. Place was busy but the wifi held up fine. Staff friendly enough.

The al pastor pizza from the brick oven was the move—sweet pineapple with that smoky char worked way better than I expected. Place has a fun buzz to it, though you might have to raise your voice once it fills up. I grabbed a mezcal cocktail on the side, and honestly the smoky notes paired nicely with the pie. Solid spot if you're in the mood for something casual.

The Chela Rolla burger was the reason I picked this place and it didn't disappoint. Juicy, messy, exactly what you want. We also had the Ensalada Rio Frío on the side, which was fresh and cut through the heaviness. Place was packed and loud, but the energy was fun. Service kept up fine even with our big group. Menu is massive, almost too much to look at.

Stopped by for a quick bite and ended up staying longer than planned. The owner runs the place almost solo, still found time to check if everything was alright. Had the casado and a fresh fruit juice, both solid. Portions decent for the price. Place is small, gets a bit busy around noon, but that's a good sign.

The atmosphere here is cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or a special occasion. The owner is very friendly and ensures that every guest feels welcome.

The coconut flan was solid. Sweet but not too heavy, exactly what I needed for a quick break. Place was busy but I got my order fast. No complaints. Would grab it again if I'm in the area.

Butter chicken was solid, garlic naan fresh outta the tandoor. Samosas crispy, chai had a good kick. Place was pretty busy but we got seated quick. Probably the best Indian spot I've hit around here so far. Service kept it simple, no complaints. Maybe a bit pricey for the portion but I'd go back.

The grilled octopus was the only thing I remember. Cooked right, tender, smoky enough. The rest of the plates were just okay, nothing I'd order again. Maybe a bit overpriced for what you get. But that octopus, yeah, I'd come back for that.

The falafel here is seriously good. I've tried a lot of places and this one stands out. The place is clean and the food is halal, which I appreciate. I just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but honestly, the falafel makes up for it. I'd come back just for that.

Been coming here for a while now. The ceviche is still the reason I show up—fresh every single time. Calamari's solid too, never greasy. Place looks a little tired, sure, but I don't really care about that when the food stays this consistent. It's a bit pricey, but I keep coming back.

Stopped by Saturday around 5, place was pretty empty. Paella was good, no complaints. Service was fine too. Just wish the portion was a bit bigger for the price.

The crispy pork belly with that honey chili crisp and coconut cream was unreal—easily the best bite I’ve had in a while. Wish they’d offered a wine pairing to go with it though.

Decent wine list and the service was fine. The beef tenderloin, flamed tableside, came out a perfect medium rare. Pretty good spot for a quiet dinner.

The beef carpaccio with red miso was the standout—duck was good too. Portions are big enough to share, so keep that in mind.
