Great cocktails and the food matched up nicely. Portions were solid for the price. Chef Davendra stopped by our table after dinner, nice personal touch.

Came for coffee and ended up chatting with Chef Ricardo about his cooking background. Really cool touch that he came out to the table. Service felt way fancier than the price suggested.

Stopped by for a drink last week. Cocktails are solid, one of the better spots in the area for sure. Music was on point, not too loud to talk over. Place had a good buzz without being packed. Bartender knew what he was doing. I'll probably swing by again when I'm in the mood for a proper drink.

We stopped in for a late dinner and the place was pretty quiet. The building is really something, tall ceilings and a nice stained glass window. Food was decent, lots of options. Our server Francisco handled our group of 8 fine. 24 hours is handy. Just wish the lighting was a bit warmer, but that's minor.

The ribs were so tender the bone just slid out. Owner was right there by the pit the whole time. Solid spot if you're craving real BBQ.

Stopped by for dinner and honestly the vibe is cool, drinks were solid. But man, everything moves slow here. We were there for like two hours, so don't come if you're starving or in a rush. Food quality made up for it though, I'd say it's worth the wait if you've got time to kill.

The wine list was solid. Owner came by and shared his Nonna’s dessert recipe, that was a nice touch. Food itself didn’t blow me away though.

Tried the Gobernador and Quesabarria on two nights. Both were pretty solid, real flavors. Good spot if you're in the area.

We had the back patio room with our tour group, so it felt pretty private. The prix fixe dinner was solid, and I grabbed a glass of red that paired nicely with the main course. Service kept up the whole night, no complaints there. Just wish the patio had a bit more breeze, but it was a good evening overall.

Stopped by for dinner on a weekday. Got the Gorgonzola steak and the 4-cheese gnocchi. Both were solid, steak cooked right. The mushroom bruschetta was a good starter. Gin and tonic with red fruits was a nice touch. Service was quick enough, no complaints. Prices are fair for the quality. Would come back if in the area.

The coffee here is really good, and they have oat milk which I appreciate. Staff was friendly. I only tried the avocado toast, but it tasted fresh.

Came here for breakfast while wandering the market. The space is bigger than it looks from outside, pretty chill. Got the breaded fish plate — fish was solid, but the pinto beans hit hard with garlic. Like, really garlicky. Not mad at it though. Decent spot if you're already inside and hungry.

Good spot for a quick coffee fix. Chemex and French press options are solid. A bit pricey for the size, but the brew quality makes up for it.

The banchan alone is worth it—so many refills and everything tasted fresh. Our server was really sweet too. Solid spot if you’re craving Korean BBQ with friends 👍

The picarones were the highlight honestly. Sweet, warm, and a solid way to finish. Server knew the menu well too. Price felt fair for what you get.

The cocktails here are seriously good—one of the best I've had in Costa Rica. Food was creative too, lots of flavor. Staff helped us with a gluten allergy and the language thing, which I appreciated. The space has this cool, relaxed vibe. Only thing, it got a bit loud later. Still, solid spot.

Stopped by on a whim and got a decent negroni, plus the pizza was pretty good. Indoor-outdoor space is nice. Cheese was a bit much on the calzone, but easy to ask for less next time.

The fish tacos were really good, better than typical pub food. Music was a nice mix too. Just wish they'd clear plates a bit faster between courses.

The lighting in there got me right away—soft, warm, not trying too hard. Beef was cooked nicely, salad fresh enough. My wife kept stealing bites of my plate while raving about her shrimp. Service felt sharp without hovering. Only thing, the place got a little loud by the end. Still, I’d sit by that window again just for the vibe.

The arepas here are legit. Owner and her daughters were super nice, made the whole thing feel easy. Best Venezuelan spot I've hit in San Jose so far.

Came for sushi with a friend and honestly the Naruto roll was the star. Fresh, light, and the price felt super fair for what we got. Place is small but chill, good for a casual catch-up. Just wish they had a bit more seating, we almost had to wait. Would go back for sure. 🍣

The lamb and mushroom stew was the standout. Rich broth, meat fell apart. Cocktails were solid too. Place is a bit tricky to spot from the street, almost walked past it. But the food did the talking.

Came for the pizza, ended up obsessing over the tres leches. Soaked just right, not too sweet. Brownie was solid too, warm and fudgy. Mojito hit the spot, margarita was kinda weak though. Service was quick, no complaints there.

Good spot to watch the game. Lots of TVs, and the loaded potato skins were solid. Wings were big and plump too. Prices felt fair for what you got.

The pollo guacamole burger was solid. Good enough that I went back the next day for another one. Red sangria was decent too, not too sweet. Service was quick, which I appreciated since I was on a tight schedule. Place gets busy around noon, so plan accordingly if you're in a hurry.
