Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed their pancakes—pretty solid, fluffy enough, not too heavy. Staff was friendly, pointed me to a local beer that paired well. Place was busy but not chaotic. Only thing, took a bit to get the bill. Fine spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

Nice spot to just sit with a drink and watch the boats go by. Staff were friendly and quick. The canal location really makes it.

Mary took care of us right away, and Sam's cooking was fresh and tasty. Halal options are a plus. Solid spot for a quick bite.

The three-person set meal was really generous, we ended up taking quite a bit home. The vegetables tasted fresh, not overcooked at all. Staff were friendly too, checked on us a couple times. Only thing, it got a bit busy around 7 so service slowed down a little. But the portions made up for it.

Decent spot for a late bite near the centre. Garlic bread was solid, and the house wine paired well with it. Service was quick enough, though nothing fancy.

Loved the bitterballen here—crispy outside, proper gooey inside. Draft beer list is solid too. Bartenders were friendly but it got busy fast, took a minute to get their attention.

Small spot with a few bar seats and a sunny terrace—that’s the main draw for me. Pizza dough was soft and well-balanced, and the cocktail I had was solid. Been back a few times now, still good.

Nice little family place. Grilled mastelo was solid, dips were good too. Owner came by for a chat which was cool. Got busy later and service kinda slowed down. Still, worth it for the food.

Came here on a quiet weeknight and honestly the food was the highlight. Had the pasta and it was cooked just right. Service was fine since it wasn't busy, but I can imagine it getting chaotic during peak hours. Place has a nice calm vibe though. Would come back for the food alone.

Solid coffee. Sandwiches with that spicy mayo hit the spot. Service was quick, friendly enough. Good spot for a casual bite, nothing fancy. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is, but I'd come back if I'm in the area.

The set menu approach works for me—no endless scrolling through options. Steak came properly juicy, sauce had real depth. Fries and meat refill without extra charge, which felt generous. Service stayed sharp even when the place filled up. Only thing I'd note: the red wine list leans safe, nothing adventurous. But for a straightforward dinner with a decent glass, it does the job.

Stopped by for a late lunch. Terrace is genuinely green, felt like a small escape from the street noise. Had the octopus and patatas bravas — both solid, well-seasoned. Service was quick even when it got busier. Only minor thing: tables are a bit close together. Fine for a casual bite, not a long dinner spot.

The coffee here is a nice sidekick to the sandwiches. Not the main event, but it works. They bring a little coconut cookie with it too, which is a sweet touch. Good spot if you just want a simple lunch without fuss.

Stopped by for a drink after work. Bartender Sherif made a solid whiskey sour, properly balanced. Service was quick and friendly without hovering. Lounge is relaxed, decent spot to unwind. Prices are fair for the area. Would come back if I'm in the neighborhood.

The flammkuchen was solid and the fries came out properly crispy. Prices are fair for what you get. Good spot if you're in the area.

Stopped by for a drink and ended up staying for a burger. Honestly pretty good. They've got a solid stack of board games too. Busy on the weekend, a bit loud, but the vibe was chill enough. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area.

I had an amazing experience with the mussels and rib eye steak here. The limited menu is executed brilliantly, and the staff is very welcoming. Highly recommended for a delightful meal!

Bigger inside than it looks from the street. Lots of seating across a few rooms. Dinner gets busy though—book ahead if you can.

Best pizza dough I've had in Amsterdam so far. Light, airy, proper char on the edges. Price was fair for what you get. Place was busy even on a weekday, but the service kept up fine. No complaints.

Nice spot right by Oosterpark. Sat outside on the terrace, plenty of shade which I appreciated. Service was friendly without hovering, got my drink quick. Good place to just sit and watch people go by. Only thing, the seating could be a bit more comfortable for a longer stay. But fine for a casual stop.

Been coming here for a while now. The chicken roti roll is still my go-to—meat's always fresh, never dry. Lamb's solid too, but I usually stick with what I know. Just a heads up, if you're not used to heat, maybe ask for less spice. It caught me off guard the first time, haha. Place gets busy around lunch, but the line moves fast.

Pulled pork burger was decent, brisket pretty good too. Spicy sauce gave it a nice kick. Food took a while though, over an hour.

Been coming here for years and the ribs are still pretty good. Sauce is spot on, portion generous. Staff remember you, which is nice. Place gets a bit loud on weekends, but that's fine. Decent spot if you're in the area.

Came here with a couple of friends after seeing the reviews. The quinoa fritters with tzatziki were honestly the highlight – crispy and fresh. Nettle soup was good too, though I wish the portion was a bit bigger. Staff were friendly and it felt nice to be somewhere that wasn't packed with tourists. Would come back for sure. 😊

The pizza here is proper Neapolitan—light, fluffy crust, good toppings. I’ve had a lot of pizza in Amsterdam and this one definitely stands out. Place was busy when I went, but the service kept up fine. Just wish the tables weren’t so close together, felt a bit cramped. Still, I’d go back for that crust alone.

Great value for money! The prices are reasonable, especially for the quality of food and the generous portions.

The lighting in here is really something—soft and warm, makes you want to stay longer. Sandwiches were solid, fresh bread, good fillings. Staff seemed genuinely happy to help, which is always nice. Price is a bit steep though, but you're paying for the atmosphere too, I guess.

Food was solid and portions were big. Service felt a bit stiff though, like they were rushing us. Not terrible, just not warm. Probably fine if you're after a quick bite.

Nice spot to grab a drink and play some board games. Vibe is relaxed, though it does get noisy later in the evening. Good for a casual catch-up with friends.
