Beautiful spot right by the water, you can see the old town and fortress from the table. Monkfish skewers were really good, sea bass too. Only downside is parking—nowhere nearby, had to leave the car up the hill.

We stopped in for lunch and the owner was right there, making sure everything ran smoothly. I asked about gluten-free options and they handled it without any fuss. Even sent us home with a little jar of their house salt, which was a nice touch. Seats were comfortable too, so we didn't feel rushed. Just a pleasant, easy meal.

Nice spot right by the beach, parking was easy too. Staff friendly and quick to help. Good for a casual stop if you're in the area.

The historic building gives this place such a lovely atmosphere. My espresso was well made and I liked that the seating was comfortable enough to just relax and take it all in.

The seafood pasta really stood out—so flavorful, and the Greek salad on the side was a nice touch. Sitting by the sea with that relaxed vibe made it easy to linger over lunch. My only tiny gripe? The pasta could’ve been a bit warmer when it arrived. Still, I’d happily order it again.

Tucked away from the busy streets, this place has a proper cozy feel. Wine list was solid, nothing fancy but good enough. Only thing is the seating got a bit cramped when it filled up.

Came here twice during our Crete week. The pork in tomato sauce was the winner for me, vine leaves were solid too. Prices felt fair for what you get.

The Funghi Pizzetti was the one. Pasta’s clearly house-made, cooked proper al dente. Sauce had real depth, not just cream and salt. Portion was decent for what you pay. Didn’t need anything else on the table.

The grilled shrimp here are the real deal. Big, charred, just salty enough. Had the sardines too, straight off the grill. That’s the whole meal, nothing fancy. The drive down the coast is long and winding, but the food makes up for it. I’d come back just for that shrimp.

Gyros pita was solid. Fresh, quick, cheap. Exactly what you need when you're hungry and walking around. No complaints.

Stumbled onto this place down a quiet street—grilled calamari was spot on, tender, not rubbery. They brought out raki and cake on the house at the end, which paired nicely with my last glass of wine. The birds wandering around the tables are a fun touch. Service was friendly, though a bit slow when it got busy.

Lovely spot right on the sand. Free sunbeds with just a small order, and the staff were really welcoming. Food was decent, portions generous. Nice place to just relax without any hassle.

The rooftop view of the harbour is the main reason to come here. Lamb shank was solid and the portion honestly bigger than I expected.

The fish soup was a bit sour and needed reheating, but the steamed mussels were fresh, though slightly overcooked. My husband's fish was much better. It's a mixed bag, but the location in the market is convenient.

The beetroot risotto surprised me—creamy and well-balanced, and I’m not even a beetroot fan. Grilled calamari was solid too. Staff knew their stuff.

Stopped by for a mojito on a sunny afternoon and ended up staying longer than I planned. The outdoor seating was comfortable, just enough breeze. Easy walk from the Olive Green hotel, which helped. Drinks were good, nothing fancy but well made. Place felt clean and laid-back. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

We came for our anniversary and the staff had a little surprise waiting for us. Food was good, dessert too. Live music made it feel special without being too much.

Great spot for a relaxed dinner with a view. Food was tasty and portions generous. Parking right next door made it easy. Staff were attentive too.

Great spot right across from the beach 🌅 we showed up late and they still made us feel super welcome. Seafood was fresh too, perfect for a chill hang with friends.

Stopped by for dinner and honestly the staff were the best part. Super friendly, always checking if we needed anything. They even brought out free ice cream and raki at the end which was a nice surprise. Place was busy but they still managed to keep things quick.

Stopped by for a quick coffee break. Service was actually really good — friendly without hovering. Coffee was solid, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Place was a bit quiet for my taste, but fine for a quick stop. Wouldn't go out of my way, but if you're nearby it works. ☕

The view is the main draw here, no question. Pizza was surprisingly good too, a nice break from the usual Greek spots. Lunch service was quick enough for a decent stop.

We stopped here after the beach and I was happy to see they had a few lighter options on the menu. I went with the Greek salad and the tomatoes were actually ripe, which is not always the case. The feta was creamy and fresh. Portion was decent for the price. My only small complaint is the bread could have been warmer, but the salad itself was really satisfying.

Stopped here after a long drive and sat outside. The view is really nice, no complaints about that. I had the feta cheese and honestly it was the best one I had in Crete. Orange juice was fresh too, not from a bottle. Service was a bit slow but I didn’t mind much. Would go back if I’m in the area again.

We basically came here every day on our trip 😅 the food was always fresh and tasty. They bring out free fruit and raki at the end, which is such a nice touch. Staff were super welcoming too. Only thing is it gets busy around dinner time, but honestly worth it.

The dolmadakia were so good, perfect for sharing with my friends. Moussaka was tasty too, just a bit lukewarm. 😊

Decent spot for a quick bite. Got the grilled chicken salad, plenty of fresh veggies. Prices are fair for the area. Place was quiet when I went, which I liked. Service was fine, nothing fancy.

Came for the grilled meat platter with friends. €12 each and we left stuffed. The portions are really big, so it's better to share. I liked that the meat was fresh, not frozen. Good spot if you're in the area and hungry.

The hot chocolate was decent and the price was fair. Right by the market, so super easy to grab one while walking around.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and ended up staying longer than planned. The staff were chatty and kept things light—made the whole visit feel easy. Coffee was decent, nothing fancy, but the view over the square is a nice touch. Prices are fair for what you get, though I wouldn’t say it’s a steal. Fine for a casual stop if you’re in the area.
