Stopped in for a break from Greek food and honestly it hit the spot. Hot and sour soup was proper, beef dish simple but good. Service was fast, no complaints. Place is nothing fancy but does the job when you need something different.

The red snapper was spot on, and their local wine list pairs beautifully with the kalitsounia. Staff knew their stuff when I asked for a recommendation. Solid spot in Marathi.

Solid spot for Chinese in Crete. Orange chicken actually tasted like the stuff from NYC Chinatown. Portions are big, service was fast. Nothing fancy but it hits the spot.

We've been coming here for years, and the pepper steak never disappoints. Staff still remembers us every single time. That view over the bay doesn't hurt either.

The mixed grill fish was really good—fresh and nicely charred. Owner’s daughter kept checking on us, super sweet. Felt like eating at someone’s home, honestly.

Stopped by for a drink, sun was golden and the water looked clean. Plenty of parking, no hassle finding a spot. Sunbeds were there too, which was nice. Decent spot to kill an afternoon, nothing fancy but does the job. Maybe a bit crowded later on, but we went early and it was fine.

Nice spot for an evening drink. Aperol Spritz was done right, not too sweet. Gets crowded but that's part of the vibe.

Grilled sardines were spot on, super fresh. Sat right by the water, classic Greek spot. Wish they'd bring the bread out a bit sooner though.

The grilled octopus was the only thing I cared about. Tender, smoky, just enough salt. Ate it slow, didn't want it to end. The rest of the plate was whatever, but that octopus did the job. Portion could be bigger for the price, but I'd come back just for that one dish.

Plenty of veggie options here, which I always appreciate. I went for something light and it was pretty good. Left feeling full, not stuffed. The bill was fair for what we got, nothing crazy. The seating area felt a bit cramped though, like tables were too close together. Wouldn't mind coming back on a quieter day.

The open kitchen is a nice touch, watching the chefs work adds something. Food's more refined than your usual taverna, and it's been consistent every visit.

The wood-fired pizza was really good—thin crust, crispy edges, toppings piled on properly. I also grabbed the spaghetti aglio e olio and it hit the spot, garlicky without being too oily. Place was busy but we got our food quick. Only thing, tables are a bit close together, but honestly the pizza makes up for it.

The dakos was really good and the homemade lemonade hit the spot. Staff stayed friendly even when it got busy. Comfortable spot to just sit and take your time.

The fish platter was generous and tasted fresh. Portion size alone is worth it. Nice spot by the river but honestly I was too busy eating to care.

Lamb chops were properly grilled, juicy inside. Bill came to about €25 per person which felt fair for what you got. Place was busy but we didn't wait long.

Came with 8 people and let the owner pick for us. Honestly the portions were huge for what we paid. We ordered maybe 6 dishes and it fed everyone easily, we even had leftovers. The lamb was the standout, tender and not overpriced like some places in the area. Just wish the service was a bit faster, but for the amount of food you get, it's hard to complain.

Lovely little family place right on the beach. Food was tasty and portions generous, but the seating felt a bit cramped. Still, that view makes up for it.

Stayed a week with family. Owners were friendly and the food was solid. Good base for exploring the area. Would come back.

The fried feta with honey was the highlight—crispy, salty, and the sweetness balanced it perfectly. The salad with avocado and figs tasted fresh too. Fair prices for what you get.

The grilled fish was fresh, that’s for sure. Greek salad on the side was a nice touch too. Sat outside and the breeze made it feel even better. Staff didn’t hover, just checked in when needed. Not the cheapest spot on the beach, but you’re paying for the view and the calm. I’d come back if I’m in the area again.

Been coming here for years now. The outdoor tables in the square are still my favorite spot. Food stays consistent, honest Greek cooking. Had the lamb again last week, just as good as the first time I tried it. Staff remember you after a while, which says something. Place gets busy, but that's expected.
