The beef Wellington was the star. The pastry was perfectly flaky, the beef inside was cooked to a medium-rare that was just right, tender and juicy. It's the kind of dish you come here for. The portion was decent, though the sides felt a bit simple.

Been coming here for years, just for the ice cream. The pistachio is the one to get - really nutty, not too sweet. The texture is spot on, creamy but not heavy. It's the kind of simple, honest scoop that keeps you coming back.

The chicken burger was spot on, and the house red was a surprisingly good match. My dad's tuna sandwich looked great too.

We hadn't booked, but the staff were very nice about it. Had a decent cocktail at the bar while we waited, and they found us a table pretty quickly. The place had a fun, lively vibe.

Stopped in for lunch. The filled soda was a nice surprise — went well with the hearty portions. Decent value.

The gelato here is lovely. It's a good value spot, especially compared to the chain places nearby. I found the seating quite comfortable, which made it easy to relax and enjoy my dessert without feeling rushed. A nice, simple treat.

The staff here are genuinely lovely. They noticed I was juggling a couple of wine glasses and my plate, and just came over to help carry it all to the table. That sort of attentiveness really makes a difference when you're trying to focus on your pairing.

The fish and chips are always spot on. Their house ale was a great match for the crispy batter. Worth the trip from Belfast.

The teriyaki chicken starter was lovely, but the main portion felt a bit small for the price.

Been coming here for years, and their brunch menu is always solid. The avocado toast is just right every time - not too soggy, not too dry. That consistency keeps me coming back.

Saturday brunch. The brioche roll with sausage, bacon, and poached egg was solid, well-executed. Alex, our waiter, was prompt and efficient with service. Good value for the location. The music was a bit loud for conversation, but overall a decent spot.

Great spot for a quick bite. Grabbed a coffee and a sandwich, sat outside with my dog. Service was fast, which is what I need on a short lunch break. Nice to just sit and relax for a bit.

Been a regular for years, and the consistency is impressive. The ingredients always taste incredibly fresh, which is what keeps me coming back. The view is a lovely bonus.

Been coming here for years, always get the bacon bap. The bacon is just right, not too greasy, cooked perfectly. It's the reason I keep coming back when I'm up this way.

The name's philosophy is a nice touch. Food was spot on, but the real star was the wine list. They had a fantastic Rioja that paired beautifully with the grilled octopus. A bit on the pricier side for the pours, but worth it for the match.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. The staff were so friendly, and I ended up grabbing a slice of their lemon tart to go. It had this perfect crumbly base and just the right amount of tang. A nice little find!

The chefs and a couple of the waitresses were really friendly. The main chef even came out to explain the specials, which was a nice touch.

Dan and Sean were so lovely! They really knew their stuff about the cocktails, helped us pick the perfect round for our group. Made the whole night so much more fun chatting with them.

Been coming here for years, and that chilli beef never lets me down. Always the same rich flavour, just spicy enough. My kids are happy with their usuals too. Portions are still generous, which is a relief these days.
