Decent local pub. Went for the quiz night, the host was pretty funny. Staff behind the bar were quick and friendly. Had a good laugh with the team.

Stephen was brilliant, really attentive without hovering. Drinks arrived just as we finished the last sip, plates cleared at the right moment. That kind of seamless service is hard to find. Made the whole evening feel relaxed.

Been staying here for years. The rooms are always spotlessly clean, and I love the decor. The bed's super comfy, and the shower is reliably hot with great pressure. It's just a consistently nice place to stay.

We booked the loft space for a quiet dinner. The staff were really lovely and attentive, which made the whole evening feel so relaxed. A very comfortable spot to unwind.

The treacle-cured T-bone was spot-on. What really made it for me was the Guinness sauce they suggested – that rich, malty note was a perfect foil for the sweet cure. A really smart pairing.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The burger was spot on, and the proper chips were really good – proper crispy outside, fluffy inside. Had a pint of the local ale with it, which was just right. Solid lunch.

Really friendly welcome and service. The food was excellent on a limited menu-not such a bad thing! Emphasising quality, not quantity.

Decent portions, cooked nicely. The staff were friendly and kept an eye on things without hovering. It was a solid, pleasant meal.

The food was fantastic, and the service was impeccable. Our waiter, Usama, was very attentive and polite, making our dining experience truly enjoyable.

The drinks list is a real highlight. They had a lovely house-made ginger beer and a couple of interesting seasonal cocktails. A nice touch for when you're not in the mood for wine.

Cool spot for a drink. The local beer selection is solid, tried a couple. Cocktails looked good too. Interior's got that edgy vibe. 👍

Been coming here for years. The staff are always friendly and efficient. Hallie, Sarah, and Carly are great - they remember your order and keep things moving. It's a nice, reliable spot.

Decent spot for a chain. The food was actually pretty good, and I loved the range of specialty ales they had on tap. Drinks were a bit pricey, but that's London for you.

Popped in for a quick pint, but the vibe was so cozy we stayed for a few. They have a good rotation of craft beers on tap, always something different to try. Really liked that.

Quick bite after work. The pub's got a decent beer garden, good size for a pint. Atmosphere's warm, friendly. Perfect spot to catch the game with the locals. Just what I needed.

Great spot by the castle to catch the guard change. The breakfast was solid, but the real star was the coffee – a proper full-bodied roast that really hit the spot. Made the whole morning.

Late lunch, steak pie and fish & chips. The pie filling was rich, proper chunks of beef. Fish batter was crisp, not greasy. Chips were solid. Friendly staff, sure, but the food itself was the real draw here.

Got a Sunday carvery table without booking, lucky! Portions are huge, the beef and pork were really good. Roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese too. With the senior discount, it's a steal.

Took a group of 9 for Sunday lunch, kids included. Staff handled it well on a busy day. Good amount of space, not cramped like some places. Food portions were generous, decent choice. Parking was straightforward.

Came for lunch before the rugby. The Six Nations special menu had an Italian burger with pizza toppings. Honestly, for the price, the portion was a bit on the small side. It was tasty and cooked well, but I was still a little peckish afterwards.

Came for drinks and ended up staying for a bite. The heated outdoor seating is a proper win on a chilly evening. Connie, our server, was spot on with the recommendations and really looked after us.

A really dog-friendly spot. The staff were nice and brought water for our puppy without us asking. Made for a pleasant lunch. The food was decent, though a bit pricey for what it was.

We both chose a special item - the aubergine lasagne. It was really very good. We've been coming to the Maybury on and off for nearly 20 years - and it's been up and down. The beers have usually been lager, lager or lager - and the food has seldom been something special. However ... something seems to have changed for the better. They were serving Timothy Taylor Landlord - which was bright, clear and flavoursome. The Italian house white was also very good. It's hard to believe how much better this pub has become.

Nice cosy pub for a quiet meal. Had the fish and chips. The portion was generous, definitely enough for two. Felt like good value for the price. Would come back just for that.

The pulled pork and fish tacos were a solid lunch. Quick service, got my order in under 5 minutes. Flavours were spot on, really hit the spot with a cold beer. Perfect for a quick bite.
