Lovely spot for lunch by the harbour. The fish and chips were spot on, crispy batter and fresh fish. A bit pricey, but the view made it worthwhile.

The fish goujon sandwich was spot on - crispy, fresh, and the chips were proper. Staff were really lovely too. Good portions, and the cake selection looked tempting, though I didn't try one this time. A solid lunch spot.

The portions are huge for what you pay. Got the shepherd's pie and it was a proper, hearty plate of homemade food. Felt like a proper meal.

The fish and chips. The batter was light and crisp, the chips were proper thick-cut. Ate it upstairs with a sea view, but honestly, just focused on the plate. The haddock was flaky and fresh. That's what keeps me coming back.

The fish chowder was lovely, but the wine list was a bit limited for pairing. Still, a solid choice.

A solid, unpretentious meal. The grilled sea bream was fresh and cooked just right. Portions are generous for the price, which is a relief after the touristy seafront. It's a quiet little refuge.

The view from the balcony is stunning on a clear day. Had a coffee there, and honestly, for the price of that single latte, you could get two elsewhere in town. Great spot, but the cost for drinks feels a bit steep.

They’ve just done the place up and it looks so much brighter now, but it still feels cosy. The team here are really lovely and everything came out quickly.

Service was efficient on a busy Saturday. Staff were friendly and checked in without being intrusive.

Popped in for a coffee. The staff were really lovely and friendly, service was quick too. Nice to see it's accessible with ramps at the entrance.

Been coming here for years. The owners always remember my face, makes it feel like a proper local spot. Food's always generous, and you can tell it's cooked fresh. That's what keeps me coming back.

The seabass was the standout for me. The fish itself was so fresh and flaky, cooked perfectly. I really appreciate when a kitchen lets good ingredients speak for themselves. The portion was just right, too.

Great for families with kids. The staff were really patient with my fussy little one, even offered to make a plain pasta dish off-menu. The vibe is lively, a bit noisy for a quiet dinner, but perfect for us.

I popped in for a takeaway lunch. The space is really bright and airy, with these big windows that let in loads of natural light. Makes a quick bite feel a bit more relaxing.

Christine was our server and she was just lovely. So polite and helpful the whole time. It really made the evening feel relaxed and easy for our group. A nice touch!

They let us bring our dog inside, which was so nice. The whole place just felt warm and cosy, especially with him curled up under the table. A really welcoming spot for pet owners.

Came here on a whim and Vicki was so lovely. She recommended the truffle arancini as a starter and it was spot on - crispy outside, really creamy inside. A nice little find.

Been here a few times for a quick lunch. The portion size for the fish and chips is generous, easily enough for two. The view is a nice bonus, but honestly, you're paying for the food, not the scenery. Good spot when you're hungry.

Had the meal-for-two deal here. The lamb skewers were spot on, really tender and just the right amount of spice. Nice, relaxed spot for a chilled evening. Staff were lovely too.

Booked for 18 of us last minute (half were kids!). The staff were so helpful sorting it out. The carvery was spot on, really good quality. Made a big group dinner actually feel relaxed for once.

Lovely community pub with such a welcoming vibe. The outdoor seating area is a real sun-trap in the afternoon, perfect for a quiet pint. Staff were really friendly and chatty.

A lovely, traditional pub. The homemade pies were served piping hot, which I appreciated. The pastry was flaky and the filling had a nice mix of fresh vegetables. A solid, hearty option.

Popped in for a curry on a whim. The lamb rogan josh had a proper depth of flavour, not just heat. Portion was decent. A solid choice when you're after something reliable.

The food is reliably good and hot. The staff are welcoming, and the wine list has some nice options to pair with the mains.

The head chef remembered my spice preference from last time, which was a nice touch. I appreciate how they adjust the heat level without compromising the freshness of the ingredients. It makes dining here feel considered.

The new look is so fresh and bright! Perfect for a catch-up with mates. We had a laugh over the pool table after our meal - food came fast and tasted great.

Great spot for a quick business lunch. Food came fast even when busy, and the beer selection is solid for the price.
