The Sunday roast here is a proper treat. The beef was so tender, and the Yorkshire pudding was spot on. Honestly, it's become a bit of a weekend ritual for me. A bit of a wait for a table, but that's to be expected.

Tried their set menu for the first time. It was a lot of food for the price, honestly. The grilled chicken was really good, juicy and well-seasoned. A solid find.

The garlic aioli was a real highlight, so fresh and creamy. The hot honey dip was a bit of a letdown though, not much heat to it at all. I do appreciate when the flavours are clear and the ingredients feel high-quality.

The portions here are huge! We shared a main and still had leftovers to take home. Really good value for money, left feeling totally full.

Came for lunch with the family. The pizzas were a real standout - my husband reckons it's the best he's had in ages. The staff were lovely and patient with the kids. Bit of a wait for the food, but it was worth it.

The spicy chicken panini was the star for me. You could tell it was made with care, really flavourful. Just a solid, tasty sandwich for the price.

The owner and staff are really nice. While we were waiting, they gave us a sample of their new fried chicken to try. It was super crispy and had a great flavour. A nice touch.

The staff were really friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived. They were happy to walk us through the menu and answer all our questions about the dishes. Made for a very pleasant evening.

The family platter is a solid choice. Good variety of starters and mains, plenty for a few of us to share.

The Sunday roast beef is cooked just right, not dry at all. The vegetables are fresh and still have a bit of crunch to them. For £15 with a drink, you get a lot on the plate.

The window display is a real showstopper. So many colourful, tempting choices, it felt like stepping into a proper old-school sweet shop.

Service was really on point. We dined in and everything ran smoothly, staff were attentive without hovering. Even noticed they handled a takeaway order just as well. Food was good, but the service stood out.

The beef was tender and nicely cooked, with good flavour. It's a decent spot, feels like a bit of a hidden find. Quality seems consistent, which is nice.

The mixed grill for two was a solid choice. Plenty of food, cooked fresh. Flavour was good. Couldn't finish it all. Good value for the portion size.

Been coming here for years. Their flat white is consistently good, one of the best in the neighbourhood. It's my regular spot for a proper coffee.

Came in early, so it was quiet. The grilled octopus was spot on - tender, not rubbery. Good Greek wine list by the glass. Service was prompt and polite. A solid spot for a proper meal.

I stop by with my dog almost every week. The staff are so friendly, and the croissants are always fresh and flaky. It's a nice little spot to unwind for a bit.

The team really made our engagement feel special. They surprised us with a complimentary glass of bubbles, which was a lovely touch. The cocktails we ordered were spot on too – a well-balanced negroni is a great way to start an evening like that.

Popped in for a quick pint. Ended up staying way longer because of the live blues from 'Bad Saloon'. Great vibe, friendly crowd. Solid tap list too. Just what I needed.

Cosy spot with a relaxed vibe. The wine list had some interesting local options that paired nicely with the evening.

The Timothy Taylor and Rudgate beers were spot on. Really enjoyed them on a busy Friday night. Great selection of drinks here.

Lovely old building near the Shambles. The kids' lunch menu was a lifesaver for our little one, decent portions and simple stuff they'd actually eat. Made the whole thing much more relaxed.

The vegan chili was really fresh, you could tell it was made with good ingredients. It didn't feel like an afterthought. The rest of the menu looked good, but I was happy with my choice. Nice, simple spot.

Been coming here for years, and the pizza's always spot on. Noticed they've kept the prices fair even with everything going up lately. That's rare these days.

A proper old pub, the kind that feels lived-in. The cellar's the thing though - they've got Dick Turpin's coffin down there. A bit of a weird, but interesting, touch to the place.

Been coming here for years, and the live music nights are what keep me coming back. It's always a good vibe, not too loud, just right for a relaxed evening. The band last Friday was spot on.

Really enjoyed the cosy, underground vibe here. The brick arches and soft lighting make it a relaxing spot. Service was friendly and attentive, which made for a pleasant, hassle-free evening.

Great spot for a pint inside the city walls. Their rotating cask ales are the main draw for me – tried a lovely local bitter that paired perfectly with the relaxed, historic vibe. Live music some nights adds to the atmosphere. A solid choice.

Rooms are clean, warm, and well-stocked. Fine for a short city break. The minibar selection was surprisingly decent, had a nice local craft beer that hit the spot after a long day. Could use a couple more wine options by the glass though.
