Great location in the city centre. Always get a table quickly, even when it's busy.

The mutton tikka was cooked just right, really tender. I appreciated how fresh the meat tasted. Just wish the portion was a bit more generous for what you pay.

The refurb is nice, but the menu changes are the real win. That smash burger is spot on - juicy, crispy edges, just right. The chips were good too, proper and hot.

The staff are really friendly and efficient. Stan, the owner, was so patient when I asked about gluten-free options. He took the time to explain the ingredients in detail, which I really appreciated. Made me feel well looked after.

Good set menu for groups of three or more. Food is consistently strong, service is solid. A bit pricey, but a reliable choice.

Clean toilets and good parking are a plus. The 90-minute limit is handy to know if you're meeting friends.

The halloumi here is a decent vegetarian choice. They cook it fresh when you order, which is nice. Portion felt a bit small for the price, but it was still pretty good.

Been coming here for years. The haddock is always fresh, cooked to order. Portions are generous, you won't leave hungry. A solid local chippy.

Popped in for a quick bite. The food's always solid and doesn't break the bank. Went for the super large portion this time, and it was massive – couldn't finish it. Good for sharing.

Been here a few times now, and Ameena always makes it so nice. She remembers what we like to drink, which is a small thing but really makes you feel welcome. Just a great spot to catch up with mates.

Grabbed a quick lunch here, it was packed. My order came out in about 15 minutes, which was a nice surprise. The flavours were spot on, really hit the spot for a busy day.

Cosy little spot, just what I needed after a long day. Went for the roast meats - the pork was so tender and had this lovely crispy crackling. Simple, filling, and exactly what you want for a quick meal.

Decent spot for a quick bite. They're dog-friendly which is a plus. Outdoor area is clean, good for a smoke break. Food came out fast.

If you're craving that subcontinent taste, this is the spot. The fuchka is mild, but still hits the spot. Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends over some small plates.

The service at Wayland Cafe is exceptional, with friendly staff who are attentive and proactive. They really enhance the overall dining experience.

The coffee here is always spot on. I love how the baristas actually know their stuff and take the time to chat. It's the kind of place that just feels comfortable.

The roast pork baguette was really tasty. But what got me was the space—high ceilings, lots of natural light, and proper distance between tables. Felt relaxed just sitting there with my side salad.

Solid choice for a quick business lunch. The dumplings were well-made, generous portion. Staff was efficient and polite. Convenient location near the office.

Penny and Sim were great. They really knew the wine list and suggested a fantastic pairing for my steak. Made the whole evening.

Been here a few times. The beef tacos are solid, and the truffle fries are a nice touch. Good for a casual drink and a bite. It's a bit on the pricier side for what it is, though.

Solid beer list. The outdoor heaters actually work, which was a lifesaver last night. Made sitting outside bearable.

Liana and Estha were very attentive. The coffee was strong, just how I like it. Pastry was fresh, flaky. Good spot for a quick business meeting. Service was prompt, which I appreciate.

The waterfall wall is a cool touch. Food was fresh and nicely cooked, and the sun coming in made it really relaxed.

The restored wood interior here is gorgeous. It felt so warm and inviting, especially on a rainy evening. Just a lovely space to enjoy a meal.

Solid spot for the game. TVs in the booths are a nice touch. Good vibe when it's busy. Had a chill Sunday breakfast here too.

Stumbled in by chance. The bar staff were really attentive and kept the drinks coming with a smile.

Took the family here last weekend. The staff were really good with the kids, shout out to Luca and Michael. The house red was a surprisingly decent match for the pasta. Good value, and they even pack up leftovers properly.
