The large portion is huge, and the chips are hot and crisp.

A decent meal. The steak and ale pie was pretty good, the pastry nice and flaky. The starters, like the fish goujons, were ample for sharing. Service was fine even though it was quite busy. The desserts did look fantastic, I'll admit.

Busy spot, but the breakfast was fresh off the griddle. My eggs and bacon were spot on. Coffee was decent too. Had to wait a bit for a table, but the food made up for it.

Good spot on Bold Street for a coffee break when you're shopping. Used their click-and-collect app on a busy Saturday - it saved a lot of waiting around. The flat white was solid, just the right strength.

Great for a quick lunch. The burger was solid, came out fast. Julie and Lou behind the bar are really friendly, makes it a nice local spot. Good for a quick bite.

The mocktails and shakes are a real highlight. I tried the berry one, and the fresh fruit flavour was so clear and natural. It's nice to see a good range of non-alcoholic options.

Had a lovely lunch here. The seniors menu had a good variety. I went for the fish and chips - the batter was crisp, not greasy at all, and the chips were proper thick-cut. Portion was just right for me.

Nice big space right in the centre. The pizza was good, but the crust was a little too charred for my liking. The americano had a proper kick though, which I appreciated.

The conservatory at the back is lovely for a quiet evening. Food arrived quickly and was tasty. The wine list had some interesting local options, which paired nicely with the main. Staff were very welcoming.

Staff are always on it, really helpful with allergies. My friend has a nut thing and they took it seriously, double-checked everything. Makes you feel safe eating here.

Popped in for breakfast before the Tolkien trail. The full English was spot on, really fresh and a decent portion. Staff were friendly, just a nice start to the day.

Eggy bread with mushrooms and tomatoes was spot on. A good, simple breakfast.

The sangria was a real treat. I tried both the red and strawberry versions. They come in a generous jug, which is great for sharing. The strawberry one felt particularly fresh, with nice pieces of real fruit in it. A lovely, light option.

The space is lovely and feels quite grand, with those big windows letting in so much light. The staff were very helpful when I was deciding on a menu for a small gathering. A comfortable and easy place to plan something.

The swing seats are a fun idea, but a bit firm for a long dinner. The wine list had some nice pairings though.

I was curious about the authenticity of their Mexican food. The corn tortillas were freshly made, you could tell. The salsa had a nice brightness from the fresh herbs and lime. A solid introduction to the cuisine here in Bolton.

Festive menu was solid. Braised beef was tender, Christmas pudding decent. Happy hour pricing a plus. Service was efficient, didn't feel rushed. Good for a straightforward business dinner near the office.

The lamb wrap was really good. Nice and relaxed spot, we weren't rushed out at all.

Christian was a great server, really on top of things on a packed Friday. The classic pasta dishes had some nice modern touches. Everything tasted fresh, portions were solid. They checked for allergies right away, which I appreciated.
